we had great time here eventhough breakfast was not provided due to covid. thanks Joon for the good customer service given and very helpful with information provided. very comfortable, nearby train station, bus stop, meet point to all attractions ie nami island, everland (if you were booked via Klook) - no need to rushing, bus stop to incheon airport (the earliest bus 6015 is 4.35am - if this helpful for anyone who is needed this). nearby to N Seoul Tower - can just walk by. Very nearby Kampungku restaurant; along the way to the hotel (also have few halal restaurants there). superb, I will recommend this to my friends. to Malaysian muslim - if you are looking for something convenient - this place is what you are looking for.

There’s so much to love about this property. It’s literally right next to Myeongdong station. Right across the street is the Myeongdong shopping area and just up the hill is Namsan Tower. This area of Myeongdong is filled with picturesque views of murals and buildings. It’s within “walking distance” (15-20min) of Namdaemun Market, Deoksugung Palace and City Hall. Gwanghwamun & Bukchon Hanok Village are also nearby. The hostel itself was very clean and staff were extremely nice! I booked an 11 day stay in a private room (with a private bathroom/shower) and absolutely loved it. I was so glad that my shower was NOT moldy. I’ve been to plenty of hostels where the shower alone would make you feel dirty. The best time to go is definitely late summer/fall. Out of all the hostels in Korea that I’ve stayed at this far, this was my absolute favorite. I’m definitely coming back to this place for my next trip to Korea.

it is less than 5 minutes from the MyeongDong MRT station and nearby shops and eateries. It has lift, free wifi, room facility (such as towel, shampoo and shower gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer etc.) and you can do your laundry and drying for free. The staff was very helpful by contacting me 2 days in advance to confirm my stay and provided instruction on how to go there.

you have to be very patient with the water heater: it takes time to tune to the right heat level

The strategic location, near to Myeongdong night market, 10-15 mins walk to Namdaemun market. 5 mins hilly walk to Namsan cable car. Near to multiple halal shops.

The location is an absolute dream.The room was very clean and nice.They were very helpful throughout my stay.when I was leaving I couldn’t call a taxi while using my card but Mr Joon kindly helped me.Truly the best host I have encountered yet.

Starria Hostel is centrally located, close to Myeongdong station. The immediate area is full of interesting restaurants, cafes and shopping areas. The hostel itself has a practical small kitchen where residents can cook and use some fridge space, although there was also a small fridge in my room that was sufficient for most things. The internet connection was stable and quick enough for me to do video meetings. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I was initially worried about the size of the bathroom, but it turned out to by of no problem. Last but not least, the staff went out of their way to help me in any way they could, not only with practical questions with the room (which were always swiftly solved), but also with other larger and smaller problems or questions I had in Seoul in general. Such a friendly atmosphere and good service. Would love to go there again!

I loved staying at Starria. As a single traveller it was safe, on a lovely street with lots of nice shops and some restaurants and next door to a 7eleven. There's a kitchen and free access to washing machine and drier, which was really great for me staying for 10 days. Joon, owner and manager is so helpful and nice. Great communication before I arrived. The room although not huge was more than enough space for me. Great value and the location is absolutely fantastic, close to shops and briliant night market with easy access to the city from Meongdong starion which is less than 5 mins walk. I would highly recommend. Can't thank Joon and everyone at Starria enough for making my stay here so enjoyyable. Can't wait to go back!

Don't have anything negative to say about staying at Starria. Loved it!

The beginning I was hesitant to stay in hostel because I had a bad experienced from the other place (not in Korea) but since I was travelling alone then decided to try Starria Hostel, thought why not? Before I arrived I was already impressed, the property manager sent me a mssg and gave me the direction. When I arrived, OMG from the reception I can already see the hostel is so clean, a decent place to stay and the receptionist was so accommodating, very helpful, he even booked me a train to Busan . Until I checked out, the team headed by Mr. JON and wife Mrs. Lily were so cheerful, The service quality was truly exceptional, I can’t wait to come back.. Room, service, cleanliness, value for money, everything was exceptional. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

We are very much satisfied with the nice, and very clean place. All facilities are provided including toiletries, kitchen utensils, even with disposable slippers in the room, they even have steamers for clothes, washing machine, etc. The location was near all means of transportation and neighborhood very good restaurants. Very convenient location for travelers like us. It really exceeded my expectations. We will surely stay again in Starria hostel when we come back to Seoul and will recommend it to our friends and relatives who also plan to travel at South Korea. Thank you very much to the owner and to the Korean girl who wholehearted assisted us when we arrived.

Great room though small. Facilities were great. Location excellent, perfect distance from station and Myeongdong. Lots of food options around.

Walls are thin and no 24hr staff. First night, a group decided to have a party in the lobby with lots of talking and music playing at 4am Our room is on that floor. Second night, 5am, a couple had a domestic with the man's stuff being thrown out the room then him knocking over and over. No staff available to tell these people to be quiet and no sound blocking of room. So not the fault of the hotel but still ruined our sleep and we're very tired for 2 days. Staff very apologetic next day...
