It’s a high quality hotel and the only one on Haeundae beach that is actually on the beach & boulevard, and coastal park. Views are amazing. For members: the member floor we were on was freshly redecorated + there were ample happy hours & free member breakfast.
The weather 😂 SE Asia was having an unusual heavy July monsoon season. So actually happy we were in such a nice hotel 😉 and it had a covered pool with lounge beds with catering & views of the beach

My Visa card did not work at the beginning and then it worked and then it did not work again! I contacted my bank, that confirmed that there wasn't anything wrong with my card. Meaning that it is the hotel's computer system that cannot always deal with international credit cards. Which is really shameful for an international hotel chain such as Westin. Very bad points indeed for the lack of such basic services and the stress it causes.

The location is prime. The beach view from the room was very beautiful. Staff was friendly. Bed is very comfortable. Room is spacious.
Due to the nature of the hotel being quite old, the soundproofing is not great. You can clearly hear the doors shut and open from neighbouring rooms. Also upon checking into the room, found a few hairs from their chair by the dressing table.

Location was excellent (literally on the beach and by the promenade), close to shops, restaurants, landmarks. Staff were very kind and helpful, even gave us extra time for check-out. The room was very good size & overlooks the beach and the ocean. Food was also exceptional.
More outlets for electric & USB cable. Breakfast a bit pricey but it is 5-star so expectedly so.

I always love this hotel and it is always pleasant every time I visit here. The facilities are little dated but still in good shapes. And hotel restaurants and a bakery are pretty good. Above all, Haeundae beach view from the room is unbeatable!
