Kent Hotel Gwangalli By Kensington

- First and foremost, THE VIEW over Gwangalli Beach and of the Gwangan bridge at nighttime! It’s pretty unbeatable from the rooftop, so make sure to go to the very top (taking the stairs up from the last floor” for sweeping views of the city and the ocean. - Breakfast selection provided was very good with pancakes, french toast, muesli, yoghurt and then a variety of warm dishes both Korean and Western. - STAY HERE, along the beach and in this area, if you’re in Busan. These views and vibes of the local surroundings are way better than anything in the city centre…it may mean you have to travel for a bit longer but it’s totally worth it. We’re so thankful we opted to mix it up on our Korean adventure to have some time by the water and with a fresh breeze :) - Location is fine for seeing all the top sights with the Blueline Park Capsules and Trains, Igadae Coastal Walk, Gamcheon Culture Village and Haedong Yonggungsa BY TAKING TAXI’s! It saves so much effort and time using them to get around and it’s SURPRISINGLY VERY CHEAP for drives up to 25-30mins. Therefore, stay here as a #1 option. - Reception staff were always helpful booking taxis for us ASAP and within 5mins we were collected.

- The window in the room could only slightly be opened, clearly due to safety reasons, but this made taking any pictures or enjoying a panaroma view of the bridge (without glass) restricted. For us, it was rather stuffy in the room so we simply wanted to let the fresh air which we did and it was better.

The location was great as well as the view. There was also a convenience store that was right under the hotel, which was very helpful. The staff was very open and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

A small detail, but on our first night we have a torn bedsheet. Not a big deal, but considering the money paid, the staff should a bit more attentive to those kind of detail. However, the bedsheet was changed the next day. Also as a suggestion, it would be great if the hotel had online payment/Apple Pay.

This hotel has an amazing view in the lobby and restaurant. We stayed in a cinema room and it had a huge bed that was really comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and the amenities provided made my hair really soft. Check in was really easy as the lovely staff spoke English very well. The check out process was very easy as well as there in an express checkout box in the 1st floor. The breakfast at this hotel was really good. It had the widest variety of the hotels we tried in Korea with similar prices. There was continental breakfast and also local breakfast dishes that were really delicious. It is really well located! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we were really sad our stay was so short.

There is nothing to point out as everything was perfect.

The location is perfect. Right across the beautiful Gwangalli beach, with lots of restaurants, cafes, convenience stores near the area. The rooms are also spacious and clean.

While some staff may not be entirely fluent in English, communication was generally manageable. Also, there was a gap in the bathroom counter and toilet barrier, leading to some inconvenience when makeup items fell into it. Fortunately, the housekeeping team was incredibly helpful in retrieving our belongings.

First of all, the bed is super comfy! Necessary amenities are provided. Location is spot on and in the right smack of Gwang-alli road. Front facing the sea and lovely beach. You are spoiled with cafe, restaurants choices. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommended l.

They do not have visible entrance as their check in lobby is on level 3. But not an issue with GPS and good cab driver.

We were lucky to have a great sea/bridge view on 10th floor. The location is great right on the beach. Its about 30/40 min by bus from BIFF Sq / Busan Station area. About 15 min by bus to Haeundae.

Toilet door is glass & not very private. Otherwise the bathroom was very nice. Reception staff were polite but not very welcoming / friendly.

Though I didn't opt for the ocean view room, I got a good one nonetheless since it was just for 2 nights. You could literally see the view when you board the lift and on your floor lobby anyway so, I personally don't find it necessary to have an ocean view haha. It gets pretty cold in the evening due to ocean winds so I like that there was an option to open the windows in the toilet for ventilation. TV channels were good too, and there was ample space for 2 luggages to be fully open.

one of the bulbs were not fixed in our room, but we didn't inform the front counter cos it wasn't that big of a deal since we used the table lamp and other surrounding lighting to do like hair/makeup etc. Mattress was slightly on the harder end, but it doesn't affect my sleep.

The breakfast was unique, delicious, the view from the common hotel parts was excellent. The beach is nearby and suitable shops for food and suvenirs were in the building corner.

I would suggest to enlarge the place where to put the clothes. There is not enough shelfs for more clothes.

Staying here was an amazing experience. Everything was excellent. The ocean view room exceeded my expectations in everything including size, cleanliness and quality. You feel pampered. The location is superb; literally across Gwangalli Beach. The hotel is a work of art. You have great views of the beach and bridge from the lobby, from the restaurant, from the guestrooms' corridors. The staff is also very helpful and kind. Amazing. I will definitely come back.

What a view! Excellent hotel Infront of the Gwangalli beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed so comfortable! Breakfast is delicious with very big variety European and Asian. Very friendly staff. There are a lot of buses near the area and a metro station if you walk a little. So many coffee shops and restaurants near the hotel.
