Garden Court Morningside Sandton

Check-in was very efficient, the property is impressive upon entry, and the room was cozy and very clean (with heat and AC). Morningside was a great choice that we'll return to whenever in Jozi. The breakfast was fantastic--a good array of choices, and the kitchen/dining area is equally nice. The staff is very helpful, and thanks especially to Franz who assisted with our luggage and heated our dinner (food we bought on the way to the hotel) and brought it to our room. Excellent guest service! The location is great, too--just 25 minutes drive from the airport--and we felt very safe on the property and in the community.

No complaints--everything was wonderful

Everything. We will definitely stay there again for our next business trip. Everything was in order, personnel was friendly, always willing to help and to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The signal for the Wi-Fi is not very good in the rooms. It would be a good thing if you can provide undercover parking for the vehicles. You can give the option for undercover parking on extra costs. That will ease the visitors minds especially if the weather is bad to know that your vehicle is covered.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff at front desk very accommodating. Lovely manners. Arranged breakfast packs fir us with a smile on her face. Excellent service. Even pushed her to get it ready for us cyclist early am , and your staff obliged. We'll done.

The restaurant closed in the front, unfortunately this maybe out of your control. It used to be very convenient not stepping outside for supper.

Location suited my perfectly. Close access to everything. Staff were welcoming, especially Dineo. I loved the gym. Gym lights don't work with the generator though. Room size is generous. General maintenance state of the premises and reception is excellent.

Breakfast is limited when compared to City lodge. The dining area needs some attention. Damaged cupboards and losse hanging beverage machine cables. Bath shower gels should change to dispensers instead of little bottles. Body lotion is not supplied. Aircons are really loud.

Amazing staff, good facilities and extremely convenient with the spur on the premises. The room was very comfortable and we had a good stay. Bedding was clean and pillows extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, the carpets in the halls have an awful smell. They have air purifiers to help but it didn't do much. They need to be removed or deep cleaned. The facility was not full however there was not enough seating for breakfast. We had to wait and walk around a few times to find a seat. Rooms were small for the size. They do not have a trolley for items, they have lifters which is strange for such a huge franchise hotel.

The breakfast was good except that it was so monotonous, with same type through out my eight day stay at the hotel. There was free transport for the guests within a radius of 5km and this really helped us alot, the drivers were also helpful at helping us get forex in a convenient and safe way.

Really everything was availed other than the monotonous breakfast.

The breakfast had a variety of dishes you could choose from. They had proteins like ham, bacon, pork sausage, and chicken sausage as well as some vegetables like pawpaw, and mangos. They also had potatoes, and potatoes and other carbs.

They didn't find out if we still wanted to stay before giving the rooms to other guest whiles we were still occupying the rooms. They literally kicked us out

Bed comfortable, just need a separate sheet duvet a bit heavy to sleep under, facilities in general great.

1. Access control time consuming, scanning drivers license etc every time in and out, made us late for appointment 2. Smoking rooms on ground floor so all the smoke smell travels upwards - maybe swop the smoking floor to the top.

The access to the Pool till late. Excellent room service and very responsive staff members. The Buffet breakfast is the cherry on top❣️🥺

Aircon is noisy, a upgrade to the wall new wall units would be best. The Tv viewing quality in my room was blurry so I didn’t watch it much during my visit though i had a vast amount of channels which i liked alot
