The food was absolutely delicious! We had dinner there both nights & it was first class!

The hotel is starting to look a little run down. The outside lights by my patio & the other patios were hanging out of there sockets. The lamp shade next to my bed had fallen off & when I ask for it to please be fixed it was just balance badly back on top. My patio door didn't lock. Just basic maintenance things that don't take long to fix, but make a big overall impression to a guest.

We chose this place because it’s a winery with beautiful cape Dutch buildings and grounds which is situated about an hour away from OR Tambo (JNB international airport). Food and service both great for dinner.

The gardens are well tended but being woken up by a tractor moving the lawn before 8 am is not great. Quite a lot of noisy construction and renovation work being done It took 10 minutes to get a fried egg for breakfast. We were surprised by small aircraft flying overhead and didn’t know there’s a small national airport nearby but we’re not disturbed by this at night

We arrived early, and the staff did not hesite to find a room for us and allow us to check-in early. They even let us check-out later than usual. The facilities are lovely and the staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean (I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness). The food at Granita (their fine dinning restaurant) was lovely and their buffet breakfast was surprisingly tasty and had a good selection.

The spa facilities are great but I was very unfortunate because my therapist did not give me a good massage at all. :( My husband, on the other hand, loved his massage. There was a lot going on and it gets quite busy (events, picnics, group parties etc.) There was also construction going on so that wasn't great.

Absolutely stunning venue. Food was amazing.

They were not ready for us to check in & delayed us nearly an hour as the room was not ready. The Wi-Fi was not working in our room & the guy sent to fix it never did sort it & he disappeared never to return.

the spa facilities were great. enjoyed the sauna, steam room etc. The meals including breakfast were great value for money.

The basin in the room needs fixing. The water doesn't go down the drain easily making it user unfriendly. Would have loved to join the Father's Day activities but as guests, we were not allowed as we didn't have the required wrist bands. Meaning after breaksfast, we were supposed to vacate the premises. I think next time you have such events organised in the facility, let your guests know so that they can either purchase the tickets to join in(if they want) or be prepared to leave as soon as they are done eating breakfast. Maybe make the guest aware during check in to see if they would be interested than making them vacate the premises with immediate effect after breakfast.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kievits Kroon to celebrate out anniversary and we will most definitely be back! The staff were so accommodating and friendly, the wine tasting was an awesome experience, our elegant dining dinner was phenomenal, the breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful and all round we had the most exquisite getaway!

Honestly the only thing I could suggest is maybe using nicer wine glasses for the wine tasting, just to give it that extra "classy" feel - but really, no complaints! As I said, the wine tasting experience was brilliant and we can't wait to do it again!

The grounds are well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a very relaxing and peaceful place. I love that there is an entire vegan section on the menu. You feel transported to another era with modern amenities. The spa treatments are amazing. It may seem expensive, but they throw in a lot more than you'd normally get. It's definitely worth returning to and recommending to others.

The paint in the bathroom and a bit at the bottom of the room could be updated. It's starting to peel a little. The shower was a bit small but not terrible.

The staff were extremely friendly and very professional . We were offered free coffee on arrival .The waiters went out of their way to make sure we got what we wanted . Granita restaurant was very very good . We enjoyed the most wonderful dinner and the service , waiters and food was exceptional.

On the day of our departure we went for breakfast . On arrival back at our room 15 minutes before the 10 'o clock check out time the cleaning lady had already started to prepare the room for the next guests . We thought she could have waited until 10 'o clock and give us time to gather our luggage ourselves

I was struggling with network and couldn't connect to the wifi for my entire stay. I was hearing everything that was done and said in the room next to mine.

Location, staff and value for money. we had an amazing picnic and it’s truly a hidden gem

we waited three hours to be seated for dinner which was booked and paid for in advance and the meal was very underwhelming. the meat was a piece of fat upon which I called the manager who was very amicable in taking our feedback. I love this hotel to be honest and this will not detour me from coming back however my feedback is more constructive in the hope that this is not repeated. the staff is amazing overall who went all out to make us feel comfortable nevertheless.
