Grand Hotel San Marino

The hotel is a short walk from everything you would want in San Marino. The hotel's restaurant had the best food I had on my entire 2 week trip. The views from the hotel are amazing. Hotel does have parking if you need it.

The furnishings were a little dated but it wasn't a big deal. The only accessible outlet was across the room from the bed so that was inconvenient. If you don't get a balcony room your window looks at the cliff and doesn't get much sunlight.

The hotel is in a great location right by the old town. The views are amazing and the hotel having an outside terrace is great to relax on. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast food was good.

At first we were given an extremely small and outdated room, totally not acceptable for the price we payed. I asked for a change of room and was offered an updated room free of charge but actually ended up paying a small fee to get a balcony room. It was completely worth the extra money for the balcony view. The "pool" is a small hot tub with no view which is a shame.

- Family room is quite spacious, good for small kids. - Beautiful view from the balcony. Otherwise head to level 3 there is a outdoor lounge/ terrace with a view. - Just a stone throw away from San Marino city center/Palazzo Pubblico, took a stroll there after sunset, very tranquil. - No kettle and cups for tea/coffee, but they can send warm water & tea to the room for free. Fridge present in the room. - Staffs are very friendly and helpful

- Breakfast was okay but no warm food (eggs etc). there’s toaster and can ask for warm pancake. - Parking along the road usually full, but we arrived late in the evening so there was a free space. - Wifi is very weak in the room

This hotel was absolutely stunning, as far as views go. The area of San Marino, where we were, is really unbeatable for views over the valley and surrounding. The breakfast was really good. The staff were welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. Parking was easy as there are carparks all around. On street parking was cheaper if you purchase a voucher from the hotel reception.

There was nothing we didn't like and will certainly visit again sometime.

Breakfast was good, very close to the pedestrian only historic center. Hotel has a nice spa and were able to accommodate a late request for a couples massage easily, and valet parking was quick. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel felt a little dated in decor, carpeting, etc. I'm sure it was very nice when it was built. Not bad - just not modernized. Also, the trees in front of the hotel blocked the most excellent views off the mountainside from your room, so unless you were on the 4th floor or higher it was useless to have a balcony since all you could see were trees and the street.

The staff was excellent and friendly, they went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel has a classic style but the rooms are in immaculate conditions and extremely clean, extra spacious with comfortable beds. Simple but fantastic breakfast with fresh coffee made by the staff upon request. Garage is a great addition. Zero noise from the street at night, clean fresh air in the morning and a view from the balcony that we'll remember forever.

Position was excellent and although on site parking was expensive,(19€/night) it made life alot easier.

No charging plug in rooms for the plugs we had(italian ) I thought by looking at the pictures when booking that breakfast was on a terrace? No. Though weather was not good for the morning we were there. Cloud/mist/rain. Breakfast was very good though.

The location of the Hotel is the best, every room has a terrace with THE VIEW. We got a room for 3 and it was fantastic because it had two separate spaces (the room and the living room with the sofa bed) so each had their privacy and it had 1.5 bathrooms. The staff was nice and accommodating and the Parking was a plus.

The breakfast was good but not exceptional.

Very centrally located, clean, our room had amazing views and the breakfasts were good.

I would have liked the option for made to order breakfast. I don’t think it existed but maybe so and I just missed it. The buffet is t bad but normally I’m not a buffet eggs fan.

A nice, elegant and comfortable hotel located in a perfect location to walk the streets and alleys ( as well as shop!) of San Marino. Staff were very professional and helpful. Terrific breakfast!

Taking a shower (it has a rainfall shower head )in the bathtub seems to cause a lot of water to sprinkle onto the floor. No other negative.
