The Wave Hotel Condado

Room was neat and honestly kind of cozy & cute. Rooftop breakfast was nice each morning. Location was super close to the beach and walking distance to a TON of San Juan attractions -- we basically walked everywhere while we stayed here! Staff were helpful with information and holding on to my bags before and after check in so I had more time to explore freely :)

Our fridge & TV were not plugged in when we arrived which caused a bit of confusion to start, lol. Bar was not open except for Thur-Sun so we couldn't get our free drink! Would be nice to have a few more fruit options for breakfast! Wifi was a bit iffy at times but happy to have it at all!

The front desk lady provided my room number to a man I was trying to get away from. She proceeded to tell him my room number at 3AM, which should be illegal.

Great hospitality and we felt very welcomed. The location and price were perfect. We didn't know they offer complementary breakfast and welcome drinks, so those were nice surprises. The jacuzzi on the roof top was nice after long day of sightseeing. We will definitely stay there again.

The first room we were assigned had AC and door issues, but the front desk person changed to a different room right away. Maybe because of that, the second room's bathroom was not so clean. I used sanitizing wipes and sanitizer to clean, so it wasn't a big deal.

The hotel is in a good location.

They are very stingy with the towels, for as much as they charge it makes no sense. You get 2 large, 2 hand towels, 2 wash clothes that's it. If you want another towel you have to make an even trade -turn in one bath towel to get another one. Since it's a hotel by the beach I'm sure people might take too many towels, but they need a solution it''s annoying and inconvenient.

The hotel is very convenient. It is small, if you don't like a crowd Rooms are small but enough if you are a business traveler or solo. It has an excellent location. Rooftop with great views, a jacuzzi and good breakfast. It is not luxurious. The rooms kind of smell and some fixtures need to be renovated. But I am happy with ny stay. I need to add that I stayed in this sane hotel in 1977, when it was called El Portal.

The location was great. An easy walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. The room, especially the bed, was clean and comfortable. I liked the central air with a real thermostat and housekeeping on request. The staff - reception, housekeeping and maintenance- was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was somewhat limited but perfectly adequate. The rooftop was the breakfast room in the morning and a bar with live music at night. I'd definitely stay here again.

The water in the shower was barely lukewarm.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and they didn’t hassle us about wearing masks when we were zipping in and out.

The rooms are very small and the pool is at a sister hotel a block away

The hotel is superb and meets my expectations. It is situated at an accessible location and a walking distance to the beach. The room was clean but you have to leave instructions for the room to be cleaned. The breakfast area gives a very lovely view of the city.

I don't like the fact that I have to request for my room to be cleaned.

the location is so great! the room was perfect! We were also able to borrow chairs for the beach! thank you!

sometimes it had a musty smell and the power cut off for a bit but overall had a great time!

I liked the comfortable location. the staff were kind and helpful. We could have taken beach towels to reception.

The room hasn't been cleaned even after the request. We were putting dirty towels and trash bins out the door. Than they were changed. Breakfast was poor. The windows are dirty. the air conditioner was bad.
