Canario Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed our stay. the staff was really kind and helpful when it comes down to the price you pay and the size of the room everything was exceptional. It was simple to get transportation using uber or just walking the restaurants near by are all delicious and the beach is very close to the hotel and they provide you with beach towel and chairs all amd all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Puerto Rico

I didn't like the way the bathroom and shower was in 2 separate rooms nor did I like their was no coffee table inside the room and also no exhaust fan in the toilet. Also the air conditioner was loud

The staff are really nice, and recommended places to continue the trip.. The location of the hotel is perfect!

The night I arrived there was a problem with the electricity in my hallway, there was not so much light on the way to the room.. I was on the last floor, too many stairs for someone traveling with a suitcase and 2 bags.. What bothered me the most was that it was not possible to open the curtain in the room for light, so it was dark - the lighting in the room was not bright enough.. If I had known in advance in retrospect, I would have chosen a brighter place.

Had to empty our own trash Cobwebs in hallway None of the usual in-room facilities except a TV

I am very careful to share any negative info but I am not serving either ( the owner nor the guest) any justice if I am not sincere about my stay on this review. 1. No Elevator and we were on the 3rd fl. 2. No private parking. 3. No refrigerator in the room. 4. The room is very dark. Dark curtains, dark walls, dark floors and the toplock on the hollow entrance door did not work. I would like to encourage the owners to take a closer look at their facility Definitely only a one timer for me.

The price and the 24-hour reception. I know, I know, hotels are supposed to offer the latter, but I'm pointing it out because the hostel I was checking in at San Juan Old Town wasn't open 24/7 so finding an affordable room for my first night in San Juan was such a big deal for me. It wasn't busy when I was there so there was no fuss asking for a late checkout at all. And the highlight was its proximity to Condado Beach. I didn't think of it when I booked a room as I was really only after a place to spend the night so it was such a big bonus.

The room I was in had one window that couldn't be closed and it so happened that it was facing the street and there was some construction nearby. I still had a good sleep since I was tired from the trip and from working remotely for a bit but it would've been hell for people who'd wake up from the slightest sound.

We arrived very late after 1:30 am the morning and Eddie was there waiting and very very pleasant and nice. Very helpful. He was great. I think He loves his job and went all the way out to make us feel welcome. He even added me to his what's app to help me get a taxi for the next day we had a early visit yo the doctor in Bayamon Thanks to you Eddy 🙏🏾😘

The room was to dark. Especially the bathroom. Could not see to shave r any thing . I told the other guy about it. The taxi had problems finding the hotel coming from Bayamon .we drove around for 1 and a half hour looking for the hotel. I had the name. The driver stop about 10 people 8 told him but he still had trouble finding it. I don't know if it is because he is not from that area. We even had to pay a extra $5.00 because of the time . He tried to call the hotel but they answered and put him on hold and never answered or called back. But God is great we found it other wise.

I really like how safe the Hotel feels. It's right outside the nightlife of Condado yet from my room, I love that I can't hear all the music/partying that goes on in the street. It's a perfect location with restaurants in either direction. The fresh market that it faces is amazing in a pinch. Cleanliness is a huge issue for me and I felt really comfortable sleeping in the bed.

The only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the lack of a safe in the room that was properly functioning. Even though it didn't end up being a big deal, my things were safe in the room but I do like to utilize a safe in a hotel room.

The room was a perfect stay for a solo traveler. Air conditioning was needed and was very reliable and kept my room cool. Bathroom was perfect size for one person. Room was cozy and a perfect place to sleep and relax.

With the rooms being on the smaller side, and the hotel being older, it did lack a few standard hotel amenities such as glasses and ice bucket, and elevators. Rooms were a tad dated, but not terrible. My king bed was essentially two twins put together, yet was still pretty comfortable.

I loved the physical location either direction we walked we were able to get food as well as buy our souvenirs. I did like the comfort ability of the bed as well as the size of the restroom. I did like the gentleman that checked me there’s an older gentleman I believe his name was Edward very polite and one young lady.

I didn’t like the towels were only replaced once while I stood. I would’ve preferred atvthe very least every other day. I had asked two different employees for a broom and dustpan cause I had sand from the beach that I didn’t want to leave around and unfortunately both employees just told me 10 minutes and never showed therefore I brought it together into a pile as best as I can. I mostly didn’t like not having a refrigerator in the room.

stayed on 2 different occasions the first receptionist could not do enough for us and was welcoming and polite - young girl with short hair - ordered our taxis and helped when the door lock was a bit dodgy 13th feb 2022 second receptionist looking at phone when we arrived - didn’t look up - had to speak to get acknowledgment - booked room on top floor when I had requested first - huffed and puffed saying none available - told her I would struggle to get my bags up all these stairs - then found a room !!! then told me she had got me a room and to give her a good review !!!
