Spacious, clean, and fantastic location!

It was absolutely amazing stay. From the very first day, we felt that the staff is really taking care of Guests. They all have been very helpful, positive and lovely. In the first day I received so nice welcome message from the manager, and then an email with lots of valuable tips, such us: how to travel through/around Lisbon, recommended restaurants and places to visit, as "must haves". Thank you so much for this!!! What was surprised, that there is a cleaning service provided even every day, if you request it. I also really liked the cosmetics in the bathroom - you get everything what you need, great quality and wonderful smell. The location is perfect, ideally located for exploring Lisbon by foot.

Maybe just a better equipment kitchen, especially for longer stays. Apart from that absolutely nothing. You should teach others how to treat Guests! Thank you so much for exceptionally stay in Lisbon! I will never forget it :)

Cozy apartment in the center of Lisbon, spacious, with a comfortable bedroom and living room, modern kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with a shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and brand new, and the appliances were top-notch. The view from our 5th-floor balcony was amazing, overlooking the iconic castle and the Tagus river. The location was ideal, in the city center, steps away from metro, tram and bus stations. All the major attractions were nearby and even the stop for the hop-on / hop off bus is 5 minutes' walk. The staff were very welcoming and helpful! They sent us recommendations for restaurants, shops and things to do and were always available to answer questions and ensure our stay was comfortable. The apartment offers excellent value for money! In the photos you can see the view from the apartment 5B balcony!

Everything was so good that we didn't want to leave!

My mom and her friend recently stayed at Villa Baixa Lisbon Luxury Apartments (I took care of the booking), and honestly, from the booking to departure, everything was flawless. To start, they were the only hotel who confirmed my mom and her friend will receive 2 separate beds (this is what they wanted, but all other hotels said we can put in the request and they will “try”). For booking hotels, I am very picky and I booked several hotels (with cancelation options), in order to buy some time and be able to properly narrow down. The more I researched, the more I realized Villa Baixa is the ONE, so I canceled all others. The communication with the villa was top-notch from the get-go and it gave me a feeling that this is the kind of place I can count on, in order to give that extra support and attention to my traveling senior mom and her friend. Soon after, my “feeling” turned into reality as the villa reception kept very good communication with me and provided a lot of advice and guidance. The highlite however started when the hotel manager, Jose, started communications with me, and without a doubt, he is really the “host” you want to have on your side during your holiday stay. He was always there and super responsive, sometimes even at 2 AM local time (which made me very embarrassed to be a bother), and with a very kind and positive tone and not only all that, but providing very relevant and exact information as I was seeking, to the point and super helpful. I truly appreciate him and the whole reception being there to give such a personal attention to their guests, be it senior guests who need advice or directions, or I imagine young families with kids, or couples with their own interests. Jose provided a lot of information on different tours that my mom and her friend can do. He also provided good list of local authentic restaurants, which helped my mom and her friend stay safe from tourist traps. So I can tell you, the service at Villa Baixa is on a dif

The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Lisbon, close to great restaurants, shopping, squares and all the lovely attractions of the city yet quiet at night. The view of the city and castle from our room was gorgeous. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and full of character. Beds were firm as is the European way, but our daughter said the fold out couch was super comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and gave us excellent tips and dining suggestions - even finding space for us in a popular but very booked out restaurant on our first night. The complimentary mini Portuguese tarts on arrival were delicious! Could not fault our stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful staff...very helpful and informative...especially as we had a problem. with a damaged suitcase . The apartments are very central and and in a flat area for walking. The apartments were nicely furnished, all in working order and quiet Lovely comfortable bed. I would highly recommend these apartments and love to stay there again if I come to Lisbon in the future. I would like to praise once again the friendly, professional concierge staff, Joseph and Asan (probably spelt incorrectly) with their store of information and advice. The little Lisbon Nata tart cakes in reception plus juice were delicious. Thank you for a special stay.

If you need to take a taxi you will find a taxi rank a 5 minute walk away as it is pedestrianised area but Villa Baixa can arrange transfers.

This was our second visit to the Villa, so evidently we didn't have any major issues with the 'aparthotel', and nothing much has changed. The facility is ideally located in the center of the baixa area, close to several excellent restaurants, as well as public transportation alternatives. Suites are a good size, and superbly soundproofed. We particularly appreciated the rubber 'booties' on the moveable furniture, which meant that people moving around in the suite above did not disturb us. Bed was comfortable, and changed every two days. The hotel met my criteria of no squeaky doors, and the bathroom sink held water. The TV is large, with numerous English channels, but the digital feed broke up badly on several channels.

I'm not real fond of the trendy bathroom, with the shallow sink (water on the floor), and limited adjustability of the rain shower spray nozzle. Also they REALLY need to clean the drain in the bathroom sink; took forever to drain. Another potential issue is the limited hours the front desk is staffed. Not a problem for us, but in the event of transportation disruptions, you'd want to make sure of how to access the facility after hours - I suspect they have a protocol to handle things.

The location is prime, and importantly the windows are very well isolated which guaranteed good nights of sleep. The property is very clean and freshly renovated. We really appreciated the beds, the mattress quality was very good. The stuff was friendly and gave good advice and directions.

I found the toiletries to be subpar for the hotel standard. Moreover, providing them in a cheap plastic bottle was really a disappointment. Please also note that there’s renovation in the building next to the property and it’s therefore impossible to open the windows of a bedroom.

Nicely fitted out apartment. Lift from the ground floor. Fairly spacious kitchen, dining and lounge area. Large modern bathroom with good space for placing personal items, spacious shower cubicle with good pressure and hot water. Comfortable bed with good side tables and lamps. Proximity to all the major sightseeing was excellent.

Didn’t have a shelf in the shower cubicle to put my shampoo and soap so had to go on the ground. No egg flip or tongs in the kitchen. Only two mugs and two glasses. Would have liked a few more. Didn’t have a dishwasher (or washing machine) so had to keep washing the mugs and glasses all the time. Seemed a little on the mean side for a property like this as did their parsimonious handing out of coffee pods, sugar and regular tea. For the price they should be more generous.

Couldn’t have picked a better location for our stay at Lisbon. Pedro square and Rossio station were not more than 5 min walk. San Jorge castle was 10 min walk. Walking to riverfront was all downhill and all the restaurants and tram stops were within a block. I would pick this place in a heartbeat during my next visit to Lisbon. Extremely clean, bright and spacious apartments.
