Moxy Lisbon City

Just visited Lisbon for a stag do (bachelor party) and I can’t thank Beatriz and the staff enough for our stay at Moxy Lisbon City - they made our stay!! Nothing was ever too much to ask and they went above and beyond to help us and make our trip the best it could be. From arranging taxis immediately when requested, to offering specific suggestions on places to go, the staff really do make this place. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. Rooms are spacious with superb showers and clean towels are provided each day. The reception/bar/restaurant area is vibrant and has a good atmosphere - great for a beer or a relaxing coffee. The hotel is decorated in a cool and modern way, and is very unique - it makes individual and more personal. The rooftop pool tops it off. Thanks again to Beatriz and staff for an amazing trip - hope to stay here again!

The staff was really friendly, the hotel is very new and perfectly clean (except for the pool area). The location is not in the very centre of the town but you have several underground stations or buses nearby and you can get there in 20/30 minutes. You can also find a lot of restaurants/cafeterias/supermarkets in the surrounding of the hotel. We also appreciated the large bed and the quiet AC. Overall a very good place for a 5 days stay in Lisbon

Concerning the room : a mini bar as well as closets or cupboards to unpack our stuff would have been appreciated. Concerning the swimming pool (stay in August 2021) : - Too many (loud) people in the pool area - not enough sunbeds for everyone - when someone moves a bit in the pool, it splashes water all over people near the pool - no shower near the pool : therefore at the end of the stay the water of the swimming pool was quite dirty and greenish - people left empty beers or face masks after leaving - The pool is sadly not sized for a hotel with so many people : you shoul put in place reservation slots or limit the access to avoid frustration and preserve hygiene

Excellent value for its location. Ideal for a weekend away with friends or alone. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced daily. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Welcome cocktails upon arrival were much enjoyed! Would definitely stay here again if returning to Lisbon. 100% recommended for couples, friends, or solo travellers.

The hotel lacked much of an atmosphere, likely due to Covid, which was a pity as it seems like it could be a really fun hotel to stay in otherwise! Playing some music in the reception and pool area would have created more of a fun vibe, as would bringing the pink flamingo back to the pool! These were only minor displeasures, however.

Moxy Lisbon was my first of the Moxys, but I’ll definitely try out again in other cities and definitely come back to Lisbon one. It has an environment of a hostel with the refinement of a hotel. The lobby scent of strawberries made my mornings, the design of it all was very modern, the room was great and the swimming pool had an amazing view. The outstanding service of the team was superb. Gonçalo and Rafael were extremely friendly during our whole stay, they should definitely get a raise or at least a bonus for such an amazing customer service. I definitely recommend it.

Rooftop pool is stunning and quiet most of the day Staff are extremely attentive and friendly Most comfy beds we have ever stayed in Bathrooms are huge and very modern and clean Hotel had a laid back and cook vibe but without being a party hotel Huge croissants for €2 available!

Breakfast was too expensive at €12 per person per night Coffees were really small, this seems to be the case eberywhere in Lisbon though Toilets near the pool as pool in on floor 9 and common toilets are on floor -1

Our room was nice size compared to my first Moxy stay in Southampton. I required a handicapped bathroom for my wife which needs to have a shoer seat available.

The shower on the handicapped room did not have a curtain nor a squeegee available for one to dry off floor. Both of those items would not hinder the use of the handicapped person plus keep the floor dry for ease of use for the sink and toilet. A 1/2 inch drop in the shower area also would help keep the shower water out of the rest of the bathroom. Do keep that in mind as I see the floor in room 119 will need renovation soon. The staff were excellent always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast was great with the selection of different breads. Keep up the good work Moxy Crew!!

Stayed at the Moxy with a friend and found it an great spot for a few days in lisbon, comfortable modern rooms, helpful staff and pretty good location given the size of the city and amount of other hotels that misleadingly that say they are “in the centre”. My only regret was that it wasn’t warm enough to get on the terrace and try the pool. Beer on arrival was also much appreciated!

elevators were a bit of a squeeze when there’s more than three of you in, but not a big deal! Sometimes found there was a bit of a wait for a drink at the bar with only one person serving in busier periods.

Everything was perfect! We were a large group and and had a lot of requests which the staff went above and beyond to fulfill. They were extremely friendly, efficient and made the trip so fun. We can't thank them enough. The hotel is fun, modern, has lots of facilities such as a pool, loads of charging points in the room and communal areas, the breakfast was amazing value and quality and the bathrooms were really big which was so useful when staying in the family sleeper rooms. It also felt really secure and the location was a great base to explore the rest of Lisbon. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was exceptional and it’s no joke that I told the receptionist at checkout that we’re sorry to have to leave. I’ve only got superlatives for every bit of this 4-night stay: the staff, the design, the location, the cleanliness, the room, (809), the bed, the pool on the 9th floor, the breakfast, the cocktails, the lobby and garden - in no particular order. Each part of this hotel was designed as a space for coziness and also to pleasure the eye. what else can I say? Made our Lisbon trip a lot more special.

Anyone who manages to find something not to like about the Moxy Lisbon City experience is not in their right mind.

super young city hotel, but we weren't the only old guys there.... super helpful staff gives fresh feeling. optional breakfast at 9 euro was great, took it each morning. the bar and the simple restaurant were useful and tasty - some pizza, burgers etc in the evenings when we didn't want to get out... quite big rooms. grocery just on the corner to get water etc. because the water taste in all Portugal is awful. try to book early to receive good price - we paid 85 euro approx. months earlier.

no fridge or kettle in the rooms, not many places to put the luggage, no closet. a bit far from the city but was ok with public transport.
