Hotel Diament Plaza Katowice

Perfect central location, a five minute walk from the train station, with multiple restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Our room faced the courtyard which meant that it was super quiet and cozy. Also really liked the overall modern design and the water cooler on our floor was a very welcome little perk (we always drink loads of water and it’s awesome to not have to rely on bottled water or room service).

Breakfast was fine, though it would have been awesome to have more carb-heavy gluten-free options; and a coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Also, what we paid for the room was way higher than their standard room rate since we were there during festival week; so while I understand supply & demand this seemed an absurdly steep increase.

The property is so beautiful, very modern and tastefully decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the area, right in the middle of a newly developed area full of great bars and restaurants. Our room was facing inside the courtyard so despite the fact we did not have a great view, at least we were spared the outside noise. All the staff we have dealt with were friendly and helpful.

The only reason I knocked a point off the overall score is the fact that the lift is terribly slow to arrive when called and we had a bit of an issue with the noise from our next door neighbours, but the lovely receptionist had a quiet word and it all went quiet.

New property. A few people on breakfast. Superb breakfast - a lot of options of everything: fish, sausages, fruits, coffee, bakery, muesli, etc. Great location - 4 mins walk to the main train station and Galleria Katowice, as well as it is located at the beginning of the walk street fully packed with restaurants and people.

In my room the sink was almost fully blocked (not working) on my arrival. It is strange that cleaning ladies haven’t seen and/or didn’t reported it. Interior finishes made in style of 70s - which personally myself don’t like. But looks like in good quality. The controller monitor for internal light in the room, AC made on tablet embedded into the wall - you can’t shut light off on this thing, so there is always I turned on light from it in night in your room (I don’t like it all) - I prefer all light object to be off while I’m sleeping.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, providing helpful recommendations, and promptly addressing any concerns I had. Their professionalism and dedication to customer service truly left a lasting impression on me.

The decor is beautiful and location amazing. Bed was very comfortable and room very clean.

The room was lucking day light and overlooking dark courtyard. The air conditioning was not fully working and aircon display unit was very bright at night. The hoover used (I believe by maintenance) was extremely loud. Staff in the bar is not very attentive. I had to get up and go to the bar to on a few occasions. This would not be normally a problem but because I had Zoom meetings all day, it became an inconvenience. The hotel in general is very quiet and feels deserted.

I rate the hotel with a top score of 10. Quiet, with good insulation. Clean rooms. Excellent cuisine. Breakfast of the highest quality products. You can safely have dinner at this hotel. Everything is at the highest level. The only thing I didn't like was the bottle of wine in the room, which wasn't on the minibar list. Previously, I asked at the reception if it was free. I was confirmed that it is free. A few days later, the hotel debited 18 euros from the card. It's not very nice. I didn't lower my grade anyway. But please notify the guests that this is not a compliment, but a maksibar

Amazingly clean room, very modern and new - and complete silence ( so had a very resting sleep). Everything for a very affordable price - all my compliments.

Since its relaunch, this hotel is my first choice in Katowice - clean, central, well designed and well priced. Love it!

Air-con not working effectively in room, mini-bar as well. Early check-in requested and granted so i planned a work call - was told on arrival that i would have to wait until normal check in time - this meant i had to conduct an important call from the lobby which can get noisy even if there are not many people. if i had known this was the case, i would have booked somewhere else as this was very inconvenient. Even so, i highly recommend this hotel and have no hesitation in staying again.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. We booked the airport shuttle option, and our driver was waiting for us outside arrivals as soon as we landed. The drive from the airport is approximately 40 minutes and this taxi was the best option for us, reasonably priced too. The hotel is stunning and in a perfect location. We stayed here as part of a trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau and it is greatly located should you want to take the tour aswell. The room was lovely, clean, comfy beds, amazing shower. The breakfast is also delicious and one of the best displays of breakfast buffet I have ever had. Really really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much

Staff was wery nice and helpful. Breakfast was wery reach and teastfull. Central location. Nice touch was free water bottles in the room.

Small garage, for few cars only, have to park one night of three in the nearby shopping center (cca 400 m). A bit overfurnished room, for example no need for the big armchair which blocks access to window.
