Hotel Las Americas Golden Tower Panamá

Staff are great. This is the second time we stayed there. We are english speaking and they go out of their way to help us with whatever we need, even finding us an english speaking cab driver.

You always have to ask for wash cloths. plenty of towels, no cloths. Also 2 people staying and only one coffee pod. These things were both stays.

Overall, the experience was great! Hotel personnel was always courteous and helpful. Room space was excellent as well.

There were few times I wasn't provide enough towel for the amount of family members staying in the room. I called the service desk a few times, and no one answered the phone at all, especially at night. Breakfast was somewhat expensive; it could offer a little bit more food variation. Internet was slow causing the TV to often time out with what I called "circle of death" connection interruptions.

The room was on the 18th floor and had an amazing view. The cleanliness was exceptional, so clean and neat. The decor was fresh and modern with beautiful lighting. Bed was of a very high standard and I slept amazingly every night. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style and there was a vast selection so something for everyone. I personally chose a very protein heavy breakfast with a kind of meat stew, scrambled eggs and a small amount of patatas bravas, but for carb lovers there were many pastries, cereals, toast etc. Finished off with a fruit bowl of piña, papaya and melon. I used the gym every day, there were a good selection of free weights, a Smith machine and three or four benches of various configurations. Also three running machines although I didn't get to use them. After workout there is a lovely indoor pool to cool off with a swim and then relax with a book on a pool side bed. The staff were very attentive and professional and most either spoke English or were happy to decrypt my terrible español. Overall I absolutely loved every minute here, it was a lovely treat to end my Panama trip and I would not hesitate to recommend The Golden Tower.

Quite honestly there's nothing I can think of in terms of negatives. When you consider I only paid around $70 a night I think the value was amazing. Especially arriving back in London and looking at the prices of similar hotels around KingsX area (£500-1500 per night).

The breakfast was good. We had a problem with the room entry cards demagnetizing consistently, all through the day and evening. Made several trips down to the front desk for new room entry cards.

Trouble with room entry cards, breakfast would sometimes be cold should have been hot, supplies in room were not always replenished (towels, toiletries), Hotel did not supply face towels only bath and hand towels.

Front desk, Yersel was very helpful and polite. Room had a beautiful view, comfy bed. Bathroom had rain and handshower. Breakfast was delicious, you could put your own touch by doing grilled cheese sandwich or let the chef whip you eggs to your liking. Nice Hotel. And thanks Nathaniel for your help with luggage or any questions, you were always greeting us with a smile.

We had a beautiful room in the 23rd floor with a gorgeous view on the corkscrew tower and the city. Rooms were tidy and the staff is very helpful and super friendly. You can find a lot of restaurants in the area and the coastline is also not far away. For everything else you might need an Uber or Taxi, which are easy to get in the area. The mall next to the hotel is not worth a visit.

The hotel is excellent, big room, super-clean, with an amazing view. Breakfast is delicious, the reception staff is super professional, excellent English speakers. The hotel is located on Avenida Balboa, a very central, modern and safe area of the city. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

Very clean they have an Amazing breakfast buffet. Great view they are very accommodating for long stays. My stay was two weeks and it is somewhere I will def go back to. Restaurant was also good. Hotel was close to everything I needed. Easy access

The decor of the hotel was a little rundown. Wallpaper peeling off the walls in places and paintwork in the corridors chipped. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and respectful

Everything was great! From the moment we check-in to departure the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was amazing, had an exceptional view and they cleaned every day, even when we left the room late in the day. The hotel was not packed, so we could always get attention when needed. Not all of their restaurants were open, but that was fine as it motivated us to explore more.
