Legends Motel

We chose here as wanted a spa bath. We were very pleased with size and depth but did not discover until the morning that the switches to activate the jets were not near the bath but on the wall. Not a massive problem as we had time in the morning to try it out again. We would have phoned reception when we could not figure out how to operate it the evening before but we only discovered our problem after the office was closed. We were also aware that the deadline to use the spa was close.

Well we were a bit disappointed that as we were in an upstairs unit we were not able to use the spa bath after 10pm so as to not disturb other guests by water noise in the drains. However if we were downstairs we would have enjoyed not having that problem ourselves.

The room was fresh and comfortable and the cleanest of any we stayed in. The staff were lovely and went out of there way to help in any way they could. The room was compact and had everything that we needed.

The cost was high but this was probably because it was the only room in Palmerston North available that night - they could expect a premium. The shower was over the bath which was ok but the only thing we would change from a safety point of view otherwise the place was wonderful.

super friendly helpful staff team! arrived a little early after multiple flights. The two people on shift over my stay went out of their way to get me into my room so I could relax. Many many thanks :) I only marked down value for money a little due to the expense but I did book at short notice over a busy weekend so only to be expected.

Room clean and comfortable, more or less everything needed was provided. Was especially pleased with the service for cutlery and crockery

Space for parking - a bit tight when there are several large vehicles (utes or SUVs)

Location excellent. Easy walk to plaza and shopping.eateries virtually on doorstep and supermarket. Quite location.

The wet area , toilet set up. Not enough space for feet when standing. Potential for tripping. I see it’s designed so no flooding from shower , but the floor needs more space to access toilet.

Really nice staff, very helpful, very accommodating to changes. Felt very much a home away from home. Very good value for money. And very close to supermarkets and restuarants.

Lovely and clean. Handy to where we were meeting others

The bed was very hard and there wasn’t enough car parks for the units. One of our group had to park on the road plus our group had 2 units and only one car. So 2 parks short right away.

The room was clean and had more than enogh space for my wife and I, the bonus of the Lazyboy recliner chairs were excellent, clean bathroom, met all of our expectations. 50+ TV channels, great and great location close to town, supermarkets etc...

No handle over the bath and bath a bit slippery for us oldies so showering was a bit hazardous. Also didn't like having to rinse dishes in the bathroom. Kitchen facilities very tiny. Fridge froze the milk and we couldn't find how to turn the temperature up a bit.

Very simple place to stay, great location parking was very good, very affordable at a late notice to book a room im a very satisfied customer, thank you
