Postillion Hotel Deventer

The staff was incredibly nice, and helpful. The room was very clean and modern, especially the bathroom was great. Large shower, super clean. The beds were comfortable for sure, but they have one (quite significant) downside.

For some reason the beds are on wheels and they roll as soon as you move every so slightly, or try and sit down on them, also making quite a bit of noise as they do so. Not only is it loud for you, I assume your neighbours too, as we could hear the beds moving around in different rooms too. Also, no, you can't lock the wheels/beds in place.

All staff were very friendly and always helpful, they were always able to assist. The suite we stayed in was suitable for 2 adults and 1 child, bed was very comfortable. We had both breakfast and a lunch at the hotel. Food was of high quality and tasty.

There wasn't anything in particular that we did not like. Would have preferred the hotel to be closer to the city centre as the cost of a taxi was quite steep for a relatively short car journey. But neither of these points have any baring on the hotel itself.

I love that my car was safely parked within my view and that I could easily rent a bike for 15 bucks to ride off my hangover from the night before. Just the perfect distance to the market to get circulation going. (10 minutes tops, if that) The shower was great. Clean . I'm satisfied and would stay again

You must call reception at late hours to get into the hotel. There should be a buzzer or PIN access. Imagine as an international guest that your phone battery dies or data is out. 3 am sleeping on the bush hahahh Restock tequila plz

very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and nice bar/snack service. Good location, a little bit out of the city, but easy to get into the city from there. Beautiful walking available along the river close by and also rented a bicycle from the hotel, which was very convenient. I was impressed that although there is a major highway next-door, all the rooms were built facing away from it, so you barely even hear it and instead are facing a lovely woodsy area with an abundance of birds & water

Only disappointment was that I expected a coffee/tea maker in the room, but apparently did not book that level of room. Booked through Booking.com, so perhaps it was a mistake on their website.

Nice room, comfortable, and quiet. AC helped to have a comfortable sleep (heatwave weekend). We rented out the bikes to go on a trip. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection of food choices.

the room was not spotlessly clean, but it was clean enough for us. Bed linen was fresh but had some older stains. Even though we didn't request towel change, they were still taken away and replaced (we stayed only for one weekend).

We stayed in a comfort room facing the backyard and the view from the windows was very beautiful (nature and water). It was quite and we could here birds singing in the morning when the window is open. The bed was comfy. We also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the croissants.

The room misses some coziness and the bathroom door is old, it need to be painted or replaced. Coffee during breakfast was not good enough.

The first night we stayed here, there was a wedding and we complained about the noise. The staff was very sorry and offered us a retry with an upgraded room. The retry was perfect. It was a quiet and spacious room (suite) and we had a lovely meal and breakfast. The location is close to the city and the highway, so very practical but far from idyllic. But if you want to be close to Deventer by bike or car and also close to the roads it's perfect.

Some parts of the building are outdated, but it feels like they are renovating part by part to keep up.

The room was clean, quite modern and a decent size. We enjoyed the breakfast - good variety and the pancakes were great!

We were on the ground floor and heard a lot of noice from the floor above. I'd recommend to take your own pillow as the one pillow that was provided was not comfy. We took our small dog with and the standard room size was not a problem but if you have a big dog I'm not sure everyone will fit.

Very good service. Friendly personal. Excellent kitchen, we can recommend dining in the restaurant. Modern rooms, not particularly big, but comfortable and quiet hotel. Free parking in front of the hotel. Easy accessible form the highway A1.

Little storage space in the room. A littered parking lot in front of the hotel due the to the Mc Donalds in front.

Lovely accommodations with excellent service. Central location. Wonderful meals. Outstanding facility. very accepting of my dog. Good walking area adjacent and around property.

While parking was ample, lot was gated resulting in one way in and out.
