Wonderfully restored property in the Newari style close to Durbar square. Great terrace with delicious breakfast served to the table by very nice staff. The room is very beautiful, very large, well decorated, in good taste. Keep in mind that Newari style has low ceilings :-) and adapt to it. The Newari windows were gorgeous, nice to sit in the rocking chair next to the window, in the morning. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.

Would have been good to have mosquito screens at the windows.

Like a beautiful oasis yet only a 5 minute walk to Patan Durbar Square. This former residence has been very beautifully restored, it retains its character yet feels contemporary. The garden patio is calm & well designed, a great space for breakfast. The bedrooms retain their authentic charm again beautiful restoration work and exceptionally clean, the en suites are modern and blend in very well. The young man working on reception is extremely helpful, friendly, and makes time to talk, especially about Nepali & Patan culture. Highly highly recommended.

While staying true to the original architecture compromise is necessary so ceiling heights in the bathroom are very low.

Loved the beauty of the building - a carefully restored traditional house. Very elegant and tastefully decorated. Great location just near Patan Durban Square Super helpful staff. Very quiet at night. Beautiful small garden for breakfast. Food excellent. Very good value. Easy 15 minutes taxi ride to centre of Kathmandu. stayed this week with my son and would definitely recommend it.

Small bit tricky to find the first time, but very good directions we’re given.

The rooms were extremely comfortable and the setting in Patan near Durbar Square was very peaceful. (It also made it simple to walk 3 minutes to find a taxi!) My family loved the breakfasts as well. This is one of our favorite places we've ever booked on Booking.com

We had two rooms and one had slightly lower ceilings that required me (6'2"/1.88m) to duck slightly. I had a little bit of clearance to walk normally in the other room, but tall people should just be aware.

The location is very convenient for walking around and visiting places. The building is a block away from the busy streets, so it's completely free of noise and dusts from the streets. The staff are very friendly. The building and rooms are very charming in traditional styles, and the bathroom has very modern and convenient settings. The breakfast is great with many choices. The "curd" (yogurt) is the local traditional style and is very tasty.

In a really great location just up the road from Darbar Square temples. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Very clean, beautiful and well designed rooms. Super comfy bed. Kettle and tea in the room, soaps provided and soft towels. Staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Breakfast was great, lots of choice.

No coffee available here, and rarely any hot water so be prepared! They only served breakfast but had no food/drink facilities outside that time, but plenty of great eating places right nearby.

Everything was perfect. A family run hotel, ran by such lovely, kind, people. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge !! The bathroom was beautiful! The outside area was so peaceful ! and the nicest place fore morning breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like !! This hotel was the most beautiful hotel any of us have ever stayed in! We loved it so much we will be returning for the last two days of our trip !!

so beautiful, the nicest hotel we stayed at in Nepal, it's charming, central, people are so nice, breakfast has a good choice, cleanest and most beautiful bathroom, too bad we only stayed one night. the beds were comfortable and big so we easily stayed with four in one family room. beautiful old house

the ceiling was very low for my husband , there was nowhere he was able to stand up straight in room 103. but he didn't mind as it was so nice and cozy

The property is centrally located yet still nestled in a quiet lane which offers peace and tranquility. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the staff is the warmest and most supportive offering healthy breakfast. I would love to go back and stay at the property again. My best wishes to the team who is doing such a great job to maintain it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The room was delightful and quaint and the breakfast in the courtyard was good. The hotel is tucked away off the main road so it was much quieter than I was expecting

I only got a hot shower on the last day because they are solar I believe. This is understandable given the infrastructure of the region but obviously it would be preferable to have hot water on demand
