Not so good coffe lol And breakfast was a little strange Forget about the toast But the hotel is great budget And staff are wonderful

The location is exception and the facilities are very nice. My room was large and I had daily cleaning services, which I did not expect. There was hot water for showers which I also did not expect. A wonderful stay.

The wifi service was a little spotty at times. There are actually two systems, one which worked in my room and the other in the lobby. This was not explained when I checked in and it took a day to figure things out. Meanwhile I was using the lobby wifi on the balcony near my room which worked okay but wasn't as convenient when it rained.

Arrived room was awful small ground floor no window and smelly complained following day gave us a fabulous big room on 2nd floor with window no view but window ...was ok as room so big made up for it thanks to young receptionist worked days didn't get her name....stayed extra 2 days with better price than booking . Com !!!!! Lovely pool

The central location is good. The hotel is very well-presented and the heritage aspects well maintained.

There was no furniture inside the room that could be comfortably used as a chair. Also, the curtains on the high window were fixed shut, so that there was no way of letting in natural light except by opening the curtains on the large side-window, which meant everyone passing by in the corridor could see everything in the room. One of the beds was extremely squeaky.

Everybody was helpful and professional. The pool was very clean and relaxing. The location was perfect for shopping and eating.

My family and I stayed for a month and did not have really any bad experience to speak of other than wifi issues which would drop signal every once in a while.

Has been my to go to Hotel in Merida for many years. Large rooms, comfortable beds, large pool to soak the day's heat away. Good housekeeping. Can't get a better location.

A little shabby. Could use a coat of paint and some TLC but the rate is really low. The front desk staff could use a course in customer service especially the night guy with a bad attitude.

Old School Grand hotel. great decorations and high ceilings. Feel like you are in an old movie set up. Room was basic, but the hotel oh so charming. pool is great.

Bathroom faucet should have been replaced a long time ago. The majority of the chrome had rusted off. The faucet also was not secured down, it would move quite a bit.

Staff were super Friendly. The room was cleaned daily. I loved the pool and it was also cleaned daily. A beautiful building. Would definitely return and I felt safe as a solo female traveller
