Hacienda Inn

I liked the size of my room, very spacious and clean. the grounds are beautiful. I had dinner with friends in the evening and breakfast the next morning with friends. Food was good and prices reasonable. not much else close by. This is very close to the airport for arrivals and departures. Staff was attentive.

I did not like waiting for over 2 hours to get in a room. They do not let you check in one minute before 3:00. People mobbed the front desk. There is no air conditioning in the lobby, and it was terribly hot. There were many empty rooms available, and they could have staggered the check in process. I had to place all my belongings in a room with the staff's personal items and leave for an appointment. The pools are lovely, many children were in both. Could one be for adults only? Was hoping to make it my go to airport Hotel and will try it again if there is a way to coordinate flight times with front desk.

The outside area is delightful, very attractive and peaceful. The bar/restaurant and pool are wonderful places to hang out. Food and drinks were very good. Bar/restaurant staff very attentive and helpful. I felt like I was at an all-inclusive for US$46 per night. There was no hotel shuttle to the aeropuerto but they arranged a taxi for us. We would stay there again.

Our room had damage to one wall that should have been repaired. The room didn’t come with a bathmat. When we asked at the recepcion for one, he said he would have one delivered and asked if we also wanted a hand towel. We answered positively but neither was ever delivered to the room.

The gentleman at Reception, I believe his name is David was exceptional.Very polite very helpful in ordering a Taxi etc. Kudos to David. We checked in after midnight due to Aeroméxico 3 hour delay from México City. David greeted us and made the terrible service from Aeroméxico a little better.

The breakfast room was not clean and very noisy. The staff are not trained for service and communication is difficult for non Spanish speakers. We sat at our table waiting for service for what seemed an eternity before taking things into our own hands to communicate with staff. Very difficult!

It’s beautiful, stunning and super clean, people working day and night to keep water in the pool clean. Rooms are super nice and housekeeping ladies are super helpful.

The parking lot, really inconvenient because of the space. Restauran food is ok but some waiters needs to learn more kindness and good manners to help customers.

The location was perfect, the staff were helpful and very nice, always smiling and saying Good Morning! The front check-in was fast and helpful, even the security guard was helpful. Thank you! 😊

The rooms could have a pen with a note pad to write things down. A door knob sign stating: Do not disturb on one side, and the other side to state: Maid service. Vending machines with sodas, chips, candy, over the counter medication ex: Imodium, Tylenol, aleve, pepito bis mol etc. would be nice. Mini refrigerators in the rooms or in the premium rooms. The rooms should be thoroughly exterminated twice a month, I killed a huge poisonous black/white spider in my room, a black worm, and some mosquitoes, big red ants.

The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The restaurant served very tasty food and drinks (non alcoholic). I highly recommend the waters with chaya. The pool was very clean. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The shower was amazing.

A couple of spots in the pool were not flat. It was almost like there had been a post in that spot and they just cut it off and left a few inches of it in the pool for you to step on.

We stayed here for two nights to visit the surroundings. Hotel is situated near the Merida airport and on the road to Uxmal ad that is convenient if you are planning to visit the area. Room was big and spacious but had a super small window and is a bit dark. Parking right in front of the hotel and you're absolutely going to need the car to get to the city center as it is quite far. Nice pool area, but some maintenance would be good.

Room was facing the inner courtyard and is dark inside and a bit of echo. Breakfast that is included is supper basic and not very tasty. Eating on the terrace is an adventure as you are immediately surrounded by dozens of bees that want to share your food. Waiters looked bored and very unwelcoming, making you feel that you were bothering them.

really like the pool and the restaurant area and the swings to sit on and lounge. we got a premium room but honestly the “budget” rooms seem the same to me and they are right in front of the pool area, I think that is preferable if you have kids. if you want more peace and quiet go for a premium room as they are further away.

it’s true there’s mosquitoes in the room- not too many but strange they’re there bc the windows do have screens. the room I had in the back of the property was a bit dark.

My flight was canceled and had to find something fast and close to the airport. Pool side cabañas and plenty of sitting areas. Restaurant and bar next to pool. Luggage check in available before actual check in (i got there early). One story building with green courtyards. Safe!

Windows definitely not sound proof. Some traffic noise. I could not get the wifi and television to work.

The red wine selection XA the so called cabernet you use is nothing more than thin fruit juice, You can buy Las Moras just as cheaply at Costco & its a far better wine. The chefs special tacos with Longaniza too dry & the tortilla's de maiz were dry & not fresh , if you are using a dry ingredient like the longaniza Y carne then you need to mix it with something moist such as frijoles or pico de gallo, guacamole but by itself a bad choice of meal.
