Casa de Las Palomas Boutique Hotel by Paloma's Hotels - Adults Only

The room was very nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Shower was good and we mostly did not have trouble with getting hot water. The breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was terrible and we ended up going 2 blocks away to get amazing coffee. Basically the breakfast included eggs whatever way you want but after 2 we got tired. I would suggest to not get breakfast included. We tried to get a refund on the breakfasts we did not use but to no avail. I would stay here again but without the breakfast. Our room was near the entry way so was a bit noisey when guests would enter, but it was most pretty quiet. Parking our car was right there and terrific.

I got a severe migraine my first night there. In the morning I contacted the staff and asked for help. They called a doctor, he made a visit to me at the hotel within half an hour. I was given an examination and given the proper mediation. I am super grateful because without the mediation, my vacation would have been ruined. The staff were very attentive and checked on me and made sure I had food and anything else I needed that first day to recover. The hotel is beautifully designed with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The pool area was tranquil and offered the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The outdoor dinning area was perfect for enjoying a meal prepared by the hotel or one brought in by guests! Despite being located on a main street, the property is very quiet. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. Perfect location and easily accessible to anything you would want to see or do. Met the owner on arrival and she could not have been more warm and welcoming. The staff was equally attentive and lovely.

I had two meals, breakfast, wasn't great. Thankfully there were plenty of options nearby so I was able to enjoy a wide range of food and beverages. I would love to see them improve on the quality of the coffee. As an avid coffee drinker, I missed being able to have a cup at the hotel before heading out on my adventure for the day!

our room needed more light! it was pretty dark, especially the bathroom, that was uncomfortable. also, breakfast (food service overall) was weird and we didn’t like it: you had to schedule, we had it delivered from another hotel, food wasn’t good and it was expensive for what they gave us. plus, they have no menu if you want to have something while chilling in the pool. worst part is that they have a kitchen in their facilities. also, they were doing some renovations and we could hear all the noise since 8:30am on a Saturday.

The property was really nicely decorated. It had a calm and soothing vibe. Although there were other guests in the hotel, it felt like we were the only ones here. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help with booking tours to Uxmal ruins and a taxi to our next destination. We booked a room for 2 nights (Monday thru Wednesday) with two beds, which was equipped with AC and very nicely decorated. We felt right at home. The hotel is close enough to Paseo de Montejo and the downtown area. We were able to explore various restaurants nearby that were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Not necessarily about the property, but beware there are mosquitos so bring repellent and close your room doors quickly. There was construction nearby and you could hear it, but it was obnoxious.

We stayed here on our honeymoon trip round Mexico. The hotel decoration was beautiful. Our room was huge and the private pool/tub was great. Aircon and fans worked really well and the main pool was lovely to relax by and cool down in.

It would be great if the hotel had a bar or more food options. But this would just be a bonus. Everything is great as it is and it was very helpful to be able to use the kitchen to prepare our own food.

This hotel is amazing! The building is very modern, the room was huge with a nice view on the pool and the patio. Kudos to the personnel who was very friendly and HELPFUL! They were able to help with a last minute laundry and with booking/advises to other hotel and sightseeing. The place is quiet as the rooms are in the back of the building. I recommend this place.

We were the only guests for 2 nights and it was amazing! A nice boutique hotel in the quiet area of the Merida historical center.

I could hear all happening in the room next to the swimming pool from the swimming pool area, and vice-versa. So you really depend on how quiet other guests are. In the empty hotel the receptionist gave us the choice of 2 rooms only and said the others were booked, but we didnt see anyone duribg our stay

Staff was good, room was so nice and clean, great location. Happy to stayed there.

Breakfast - Chef wasn't work at the day, somebody (staff) was -very nice- made a breakfast for us but wasn't good. We wouldn't eat it if we would now chef wasn't there.

I'd like to say special thanks to the staff of the hotel! Unfortunately, my experience in Merida was a bit spoiled because my car was broken into in Chichen Itza. But people in the hotel were very understanding and helpful. They would call to Chichen Itza and inquiry about my case in Spanish. They extended our stay on the last-minute request. The receptionist would come and open the parking lot gates for us during an awful rain storm, really appreciated it. They helped me find a mechanic to repair my car and were generally very helpful and supportive. They made the whole experience in Merida more pleasant and easier. The hotel itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to swim in their gorgeous pool due to bad weather, but it looked amazing. Shared kitchen with free coffee and appliances was nice. The room was clean and quiet. I'm a sensitive sleeper and I liked that the room was dark at night. One night some guests were very loud but the hotel worker made remarks and tried to keep them quiet. Wifi was reasonable. The location is great — walking distance to restaurants and bars, but the area itself is quiet and safe.

One night there was a problem with hot water, but the staff fixed it per our request. There is no garage in the hotel itself but there is a secured parking lot in the building across the street. We had to call the hotel to open its gates every time we wanted the car in or out after working hours. No mini-bar in the room but you can get some beers and chips from the receptionist.

A quiet lovely oasis in the city. It was clean, comfortable bed and lovely pool side rooms with outdoor shower.

The rooms should be stocked with glasses for water or drinks, facecloths and a little fridge would be nice.
