breakfast ok. garage available for guests (no extra costs). nice pools (2 at ground level and 1 on on the rooftop with bar). about 300-400m from the beach and 300m from the main tourist street, so it is within walking distance but a quiet place, everything is very close (shops, restaurants, mexican fastfood), big rooms

Courtyard pool area is gorgeous Roofdeck is gorgeous Location is fantastic, convenient to everywhere, municipal plaza is pretty at night, and not too much noise from anything nearby which can happen at other places too close to the night clubs Good breakfast!

I like a more plush mattress, so this one was a bit more firm than I prefer Not having the roofdeck bar open for drinks and snacks is a drawback Room shower area needs better ventilation The toilet in the closet concept is also very tight, my knees would protrude so I'd have to keep the door open when sitting on the toilet

We stayed at La Pasion Hotel for a 6 days, and it was amazing time! Location is pretty good - area is not too noisy and crowded, and close to beach (10 min) There are a beautiful garden, pools and hot tub in the hotel - it was our favorite places there, so calm and relaxing. We’ll definitely miss this 😁 The room was very clean. Staff are friendly and nice, always ready to help :) Also their breakfast is really good - you’ll have a fruit plate, beverage (orange juice is amazing!) and the main dish. We will definitely stay in this Hotel in the future again!

Friendly staff. Great location. Free underground parking. Close to center and beach. Soap and shampoo provided. Comfortable bed. Nice pools and rooftopbar with pool and 2 jacuzzis.

The included breakfast was a bit disappointing for the fact that there's just 1 drink included. What means that is you have a coffee, you have to pay extra for a glass of water, juice or whatever. Don't expect a big breakfast too. You get one plate that you can choose from the list. If you want something extra, you pay extra! Honestly, that one plate wasn't enough for me. So everyday, we paid for 2 extra drinks and 1 extra plate. We had a room with balcony (streetview) but the furniture on the balcony is so big and massive, there's no place to stand or move. One last thing is that the showercabin was leaking realy bad, what resulted in a wet floor all the way from the bathroom into the room.

Everything! The location, the stuff was so welcoming, the room was very clean and big. They offered beach bag and towels. The breakfast was nice

It's a beautiful adults only boutique hotel located just a few blocks away from the sea. Not at the crazy 5th avenue so it's relatively quiet at night. The room was equipped with an AC and a safe, as well as with a small fridge. We also had a balcony overlooking the pool/garden area which was very nice! Oh yeah did I tell you how much we enjoyed the garden area? It's absolutely amazing and it's a great place to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon with a book. The hot tubs were also awesome. Breakfasts were fine. You can choose between omelettes, pancakes, and sandwiches. Please do yourself a favour and try the Venezuelan restaurant next door (Kaxapa Factory)!!! The food is delicious and the owner is super friendly.

The facilities are a bit run down. The wifi connection was a bit flakey in our room (third floor).

What a fabulous hotel, I'm so pleased I chose to stay here. Friendly staff, great location, and lovely room with a super comfy bed! My room had a balcony overlooking the main square, and it was so nice to sit there in the morning with a coffee that was available from the lobby 24/7. The breakfast that was served was fantastic with a great selection to choose from. Absolutely LOVED the gardens with the swimming pools, such a lovely place just to chill out with a book. This was my favourite hotel during my two weeks travelling around Mexico, and I can't wait to come back here.

The fact I had to leave!

- perfect location, 5min from 5th avenue with loads of bars and shops - good price/quality - room was nice & airco in the room worked well - roof pool was nice - the breakfast is basic but nice, includes fruit, 1 drink (coffee OR juice) and a dish like pancakes / scrambled eggs, etc..

- certain parts of the hotel urgently need maintenance: pool chairs have torn cushions, elevators look like they could fall apart any moment - not sure who designed the bathroom, but the toilet is in the worst possible place, the lid always falls down and the flush button is hard to reach - if you want coffee & juice at the breakfast you need to pay extra..

Nice layout, close to the beach. There is a dive shop just around the corner for guests looking for diving. Breakfast was simple, but had a nice selection of meal choices, giving you opportunity to have a different breakfast every day. It is not a buffet, you get 1 drink, plate of fruits and 1 meal choice. If you are not looking for a pool to do laps in, this hotel has 3 small ones for relaxing. Bed was big, and rooms have balconies, the ones looking towards the back street will be with closed curtains as you do not want to exchange room views with people across the street. Staff is friendly and always answering with a smile. Javier was the one asking me how my stay is, and if everything is OK 👍🏻

AC is blowing directly on the bed, units are old and not much options of choosing a fan direction. They can be noisy too. Shower cabin in my first room was positioned in such a way that water would get out on the tiles, and would reach out to the bathroom door and a bit to the bedroom. Meaning, water would come out on the doors sides, seal not very well done.

This was the maybe coolest and most unique hotel I've ever been to. I loved the décor and look of everything, and all the lush potted palms added so much to the environment. The rooftop pool and hot tub were so relaxing, and the rooftop bar was awesome. The drinks were crazy affordable to someone from the U.S. (full on professional cocktails were only 70 pesos!) The breakfast was some of the best food I had in Playa del Carmen, and it was without a doubt the best "cost included with the hotel" breakfast I've EVER had. Also, it's in a great location. We got to watch all the Christmas festivities happening in the city square from our balcony. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

Only cons were a few things needed sprucing up - one of the 2 rooftop hot tubs was out of commission, and the rooftop beds look like they could use some cleaning. Still awesome though.
