Isabella Boutique Hotel

I’m so amused by the negative reviews for this hotel. How people will knowingly book a budget option then compare their experience to a 5 star hotel is beyond me. For $42/night I had a king size bed with clean sheets, no pests, strong AC, decent wifi (streaming difficult but all other needs met), and the lovely staff. Yes, there are some easy fixes the property could consider, but considering the Hilton (a block away) is $1500/night, the hotel next door is $200/night and this is under $50, I can’t see how anyone would complain about a thing. Would book again if looking for an inexpensive stay on the beach.

Some easy ways the property manager could improve the guest experience: Replace the pillows on the lounge chairs and patio chairs outside each room. Attention to cleanliness will go a long way to guests’ perception of the “boutique” aspect of your business. Remind guests of the noise policy upon check in. Your property is small and the common areas are close to people’s rooms. Loud groups who (understandably) want to enjoy the common areas late at night will easily bother guests who are trying to sleep.

The lication is super central, but there is no noise from the clubs. The place is actually super nice, with the beach huts and beachy vibes, but it felt like they stopped taking care of it maybe during the pandemic.. The prople working there were very nice and helpful!

The shower and all the facets or like the toilet butten were completly rusted, but not old but just not taken care of, like noone cleaned them with a hard brush or something, like ever.. Everything looked nice but it just needed a bit of love.. Also the place is outside so there will be some bugs and little animals crawling in.. The breakfast is very small, two toasts and some fruit..

The room is large, bathroom too. The air conditioning works very well, the location is excellent, it is steps from the beach and fifth avenue. Despite being very close to several nightclubs, the accommodation is extremely quiet. The staff is kind and hardworking.

The breakfast is very simple, even for mexican standard - I don't recommend booking with breakfast. In the three days we stayed we were not offered room cleaning. The mattress on the bed was too soft for our liking.

super nice atmosphère and cute little houses perfect location, near the beach but no noise from the parties not far the staff was really friendly

there is no parking (except in the street but you need to pay - either with coins (pesos) or with an app linked to your Mexican number if you get a SIM card there) breakfast could be improved the smell of the seaweeds. there was so much on the beach when we were there because of the wind and the smell is awful. unfortunately for them, they can’t do anything about it

Location was perfect. Close To everything but a little off the main area which made my stay quiet. Which I like . Comfy bed and nice lighting. Cleaned daily . Safe. Friendly Staff.

There was no food or drink available. Which would have been nice to eat at the beautiful patio area.

it’s a beautiful little place in busy Playa del Carmen but so protected from the noise of all the bars and clubs. Brilliant location, wonderful staff, they even changed our room to a two bed one since we were two tall women :). very cosy place which I would choose again if staying at Playa del Carmen.

The room was bigger and better than expected, with nice decoration, comfortable bed / pillows, a fan but also A/C that worked perfectly, towels etc. The room did not have a hair dryer but that was made available for my whole stay (over a week) once I requested it. The location of the property is also great as it's close (walking distance) to the beach and everything in 5th Avenue but without ANY of the noise! I could not hear one thing at night so it was perfect! And that is quite a game changer in these properties close to 5th Avenue as I've stayed in two other places that could not isolate or be far away from the music / loud noise as this property did! It was perfect. The staff is also very friendly/helpful, great value for money.

The lightning in the room needs improvement as I felt the room was too dark at times. Also, my room was right in front of the pool so I couldn't just leave my curtain open as people would see me changing or doing whatever in the room. At the end of my stay, I could not find my makeup concealer but maybe it was my mistake of leaving it somewhere else..

What a positive Experience! Such Precious moments were there! I wish that we have an option to add video to the reviews. You must try it place. 1)•Location & Price will you not find better! It property located one step to beach~next to all other's "luxurious•prices" hotels. Point is that you will be locating around nice, safe & beautiful environment where you will be able to record good videos & do photos. The services as shopping, entertainigs and restaurants it's 3 minutes away located on opposite street of ocean. 2) •The Checking process is~fast stress & hustle Free. It means~that when you get there you will be assisted and Welcoming! 3) •Comprehend that it's a Tropical Style place environment that you may meet with free running Iguanas in the Garden! That love eating bread! •Type of room is a Bungalow~Spacious garden~clean and very taken care of it with plenty comfortable chairs & tables that set up convenient for all visitors there. •Pool is Good. •At 8:30am they serving breakfast that is simple~quick~good. Late night you will be able to step out to Garden. The Team of the hotel it's Great, awesome polite, responsive, english speaking. Very Good.

Very quiet place but still super location in the center of the city! The staff was super friendly and the pool area super good to relax and hangout. Could also change my room to a more comfy one :) Late times for breakfast and checkout (very nice if you prefer long sleeps). All in all loved it for the price to pay. If you like the hassle of the city life combined with a relaxing atmosphere come here!

-Good Internet connection is quite hard to find but acceptable if you don't need to work -looks on the pictures little bit fresher -breakfast is every day the same if you stay longer (fruits & eggs) -sadly the bar wasn't open -beach is not nice in front but you can walk to playacar or coco

First, this property is pet friendly one of the few in the area, the staff was great and made us feel welcome, they treated our let's as if they were their own. The property is beautiful, clean and well located, walking distance to everything, the beach is a few stwp away ans the night life is a couple of minutes walk, never had issues with parking. The beds, rooms were great and clean! The food was awesome, (they should advertise this more) drinks, and scenery was great! This place is a hidden jewl.. I highly recommend this place. I will stay again, .

No hair dryer, but that's about it.
