Casa del Mar Cozumel Hotel & Dive Resort

Snorkeling was terrific, right off the property beach! Staff were not only friendly but were fun. Good restaurant on site. Area was convenient for what we needed. Really great little coffeehouse a block away. Grounds were a delight to walk around in, plenty of greenery. terrific view of the ocean from our balcony. Very clean.

A lot of noise from construction which I'm told will be finished by the time we come back next year. Would have liked more chairs in the beach area. We had to apprehend a couple from the pool area almost every day.

The overall charm of the hotel had a nice vibe. It's in decent shape/repair considering how old it is. We were comfortable enough. The staff was very good! Being able to cross the street with the bridge was nice. Taxi's came to collect us quickly. The pool was clean and tidy. The grounds and restaurant added to the charm.

The food is very disappointing. With a little effort, it could be a lot better. There were MANY other very good options, so after the first experience never went back. Seeing all the cruise ship activity is very sad and disappointing. The traffic from the 'cruisers' made the area little hectic to navigate. The overall location was not great for us. I thought the price was high for this property.

Staff were very helpful and responsive to all of our needs and requests. They delivered 100 percent of what we asked for.

Front desk personnel are competent, professional and helpful. Unfortunately they are not particularly friendly or warm. This was not a language issue because my wife speaks Spanish as a first language and it made no difference.

Stuff was amazing, the gardener took such good care of the property the plants were beautiful. It was nice you could snorkel just right off the property, or you could go out on a boat. The food was good, they upgraded my room to an amazing two bedroom suite at no cost to myself. I have nothing but good things to say in fact I really go back twice to a location. And I'm already planning next year's vacation here with friends.

That I couldn't stay longer, I had so much fun I had easy access to scooters. I would have loved to explore the island more.

Good location to dive shops and reefs/sites. The property was nice, nice pool, swim up bar. Prices reasonable for food and drink. Very friendly staff! Rooms were very clean and the daily housekeeping service was great.

Our room was on the 3rd floor in the far corner so it was a bit of a walk each time (no elevator) and the wifi didn't work in our room. The beds aren't terrible but they are definitely very firm!

The entire staff was amazing, from check in to check out everyone was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The facilities well maintained and beautiful, and the restaurant and bar were very nice.

I have zero complaints, wish we could have stayed longer.

i really love this place for the most part. i got a great rate during this particular stay. The food is really great and the staff will do anything to accommodate you as well. like my room with my private balcony where i could work peacefully.

My bed was super hard and i dont like the fact that u can hear people talking outside of your room. during my stay there was a family with children and they where always running up and down the hallway. i didnt care for that at all.

The pool was nice as well as happy hour each evening. Ocean access across the bridge, we did some snorkeling. We will definitely be back.

Great and inexpensive home base for a dive trip. There is a dock right across the street and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s only $5-6 US to take a cab into town. The resort is very quiet. We booked a 2-story, 2-bathroom townhome and it was awesome. We went offsite for all our meals so can’t say anything about the food.

location, access to the ocean, there is no beaches in this area, but we had access to the ocean by an overhead bridge. there was a very small sandy area for access. snorkeling in front was very good.

the resort is not a 5 star, so dont come expecting, but is a nice older , small resort.
