Hotel Casa Blanca

The location is great, it doesn't offer breakfast but there is a restaurant across the park that does and that was good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The air conditioning wasn't directed at the bed and that is very important to us. It is a basic room but spacious enough and clean. The parking is easy and practical.

We were given a room at first that had a sewers smell but they then kindly gave us an other room that was perfect. The place is a little dated but if would stay there again with pleasure if I were to travel through Chetumal again. The elevator wasn't working.

The staff had no suggestions for restaurants or destinations nearby. We were hungry after traveling 6.5 hours and they didn't know how to give us directions to ANY restaurants... I thought that was unprofessional. A map of the area would have been VERY helpful. Two wifi tickets were issued so only two devices were able to log into the network. My wife and I each have a phone so I couldn't use my tablet on their wifi.

Perfectly good place to spend a night before going to Belize. The place was super clean, comfy bed, functioning hot shower. The area / town was not very exciting from what little I managed to see, but the hotel is placed close to the seaside and not too far from more central parts of town.

However I couldn't find anything better to eat than fried chicken nearby in the area, and started to feel a bit uncomfortable about being on the street as it was getting darker and not many people around.

Everything about the room was acceptable. Bottled water was provided each day, which was welcome as it was very hot in Chetumal. The room was clean with a comfortable king sized bed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There were no shops, cafe or restaurants within walking distance. Taxis are inexpensive, which helped.

We stayed on the third floor. There were nice and spacious rooms with a nice view of the surrounding areas. It was also very quiet since many people weren't up and down the hallway!

The elevator wasn't working at check-out, it was on maintenance and therefore we had to go down the stairs with all our luggage. It is understandable and we wouldn't give a bad rating for that, but that was the only thing we didn't like for our entire stay.

The place was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were great and very helpful. Would recommend if you want an affordable, clean, comfortable place to stay but don't mind noise.

The walls to the outside are paper thin and anything that happens outside echoes into the rooms so it keeps you awake at night. Also the TV didn't work properly.

The staff members were very friendly. Most of their staff are females, so solo female travellers will be very comfortable. I had a good experience. Would recommend it to everyone else, wanting to spend a few days in Chetumal.

No complaints about anything

the bed was comfortable, free coffee at reception. it is close to the ferry and it was quiet at night, we had a good night of sleep.

unfortunately we had a ground level bedroom so we could see everyone walking by and they could see everything inside the room. at night it was quiet though

The location. It is close to the Museum of Mayan Culture. It is about a 20 minute walk to the sea and ferry terminal and also about a 20 minute walk to the shopping area.

The hotel only supplied one small bottle of water for two people.
