The room (after being tidied up) was great, great amenities, great bed, loved the coffee machine, very clean, great location and price.

The guy at the counter kept insisting we had to pay during check in “because it was the end of the month” (Dec 30th). The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, they said to come back in 1.5 hrs, I went back 3 hrs later, the guy walked me to the room, opened the door and surprise! The room wasn’t ready, the bed undone as if the previous guest had just left. In their defence I have to say I got the feeling this guy was not their regular employee, one because he had no idea what he was doing and two because it was New Years time.

The hotel itself is an old stately house, very well preserved. The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, and original (ie, the bathtub was in the bedroom). Everything worked well, the bed was very comfortable, the detail of the espresso machine was nice. The room is well lit, with high ceilings and large windows. The bathroom is striking, with a large window (that belongs to the original architecture) in the shower. Everything works well. The restaurant downstairs has very good Mexican food with good service.

The room's balconies (we were in the corner room) open onto two very busy streets, so it's impossible to keep the windows open because of both the noise and the fumes from cars. Also, no mosquito screens, so we were obliged to keep both windows and wooden shutters closed all night. Not ideal. Water is not drinkable. They offer tiny 250 ml bottles; but we were obliged to buy bottled water and bring it in. They should at least have a filter for guests to use, as opposed to buying plastic!! As for the parking, they offer a reduced rate at a parking building some 400 metres away (which is fine); but they insist on parking the cars themselves, even if you'd rather do it yourself.

The property is very cute and cozy. There is no elevators so be mindful if you have heavy bags. The location is perfect. Very close to everything you could need.

I wished the staff was more welcoming. The girls that are there during the day just made our stay feel blah. I’ve stayed in my hotels and it will be one to stand out in a negative way because of the coldness of the staff. I will most likely book somewhere else in the future.

The hotel was super central, allowing my husband and I to spend the couple days we had in Puebla walking the beautiful streets and tasting the delicious cuisine and treats on offer. The staff were super helpful and the hotel was lovely.

It was very loud at night with the windows and doors to the balcony not offering a lot of barrier to this. The fan in the room was also super difficult to use and we didn’t end us using it - a little warm at night as the windows had to be closed.

The location was super, in the middle of the lovely city Puebla. The room had a balcony overlooking the street with a view on the church, and at night you could close the windows and were not disturbed by noises from the street. Besides its amazing view, the room was spacious, clean, had a seperate shower and toilet, a big TV screen and a huge bed. Moreover the room was decorated in a nice way, felt cosy! The staff was friendly as well, always checked how we were doing and helped us whenever they could. :)

location is fantastic. Staff is very friendly and room is clean and bed is comfortable. The booking said we would get a queen bed but in reality we got a king bed which was great.

Our room had a window that opened to the street so it was noisy until about 10:00 pm but after this the noise was low and did not impact our sleep. I must say, I liked to watch the Street scene out our window. There was a little balcony you could stand on.

Very centric located, coffee and water included. Personnel was very nice and showed us all room options. The wifi is stable enough but sometimes was cutting during calls (we were working from the hotel). The room was clean and had a small balacony.

The room is quite tiny and the room we chose was directly at the main road so loud but there are more silent options in the back.

The room was spotless and spacious. Although we had a corner room facing the street, the noise was not disrupting our sleep. The bathtub is the real party trick of this room, but there is a also a spacious shower room! It is such a nice experience to stay in a historic building! The hotel also has a cute cafe which unfortunately did not have a chance to try.

Location and staff were great. the bed was very comfortable. large shower with string water pressure. tub also in room. Balcony, High ceilings. nice touch to have a robe and great linens. staff very friendly especially the evening/ Night Shift person. he tried really hard to fix our AC remote but he figured out the remotes had been switched and we slept with AC. Thank you! we also got upgraded to king bed which was very nice.

the only thing I have to say and we did not mind we went elsewhere was breakfast at property did not work for us. we like better buffets.

The staff were friendly, and check in / check out were both quick and easy. The room was very clean, and stocked with nice toiletries and bottles of water. The location was ideal as a base for exploring the centre of Puebla – it was very close to the Parian Market.

It’s situated on a crossroads and our room was right on the corner, which meant it was quite noisy with traffic late at night and early in the morning.
