I had a small balcony so I could open the door, it made my stay. It is terrible that now a days you can not open windows and get any fresh air in. Breakfast was excellent , the fresh fruits where yummy. Location is good as it is a walk way from the city center , which is perfect for sightseeing

Spa ,they need to do something about the Sauna ( ladies ) , it does not get hot enough , the maximum level it can reach is far to low for a sauna so it is a waist of time using that, hopefully they will look into that. So I used the steam room instead, which I do not particular like but it was a very good steam room! Another suggestion is that at the relaxing area, could do with 2 or 3 chaises long to relax ,now there are normal chairs so not relaxing at all after a steam session and hopefully next time a sauna session.

Breakfast was good, quite a lot of options. Bed was comfortable and the swimming pool was also fine. There were 2 saunas which we really enjoyed.

In the vision of sustainability, they should work with refillable bottles of shampoo and body gel.

We were quite happy with the hotel and the room. The room was nice, big and modern, the bed was very comfortable and big. The breakfast was nice and tasty and offered a lot of different food. There was some western food as well as mexican dishes. The location worked for us, but we found it to be more pricy than in the city centre. Also it's quite far to walk to Zocalo, so consider traffic if you want to go to the city centre by car.

A cleaning lady was waking us up every morning at 8:30 without clear explanation why. I am unsure if it was by mistake, but it was really ruining my day because I couldn't fall back to sleep.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Hotel restaurant La Fontain was very good and staff were amazing.

The other two restaurants Sonra Grill and the asian restaurant left alot to be desired. The staff were lacking attention to detail and confused our orders. They were rude about tips left.

Very good location. Room was clean. Food at the restaurant was good. It's a great hotel.

When I booked it, I selected pay in advanced but they never did until I got there, then the price changed they charged me more than the price I had on my booking.

Breakfast was amazing, the variety was exceptional, the area was very spacious and the staff were always so helpful polite and friendly.

WiFi was very slow when working from my room. Less that 2mb and disconnected frequently. This was an issue for work and often I would have to go down to the lobby to work.

Barceló Reforma is one of my very favourite hotels: it is centrally located, has excellent facilities, large rooms, very comfortable beds; wonderful, peaceful and appealing ambience; it offers fantastic breakfast; but one of the best features has consistently during several visits been the professionalism, courtesy, competence and helpfulness of staff, on this occasion in particular Diego, who checked me and my colleague and friend in, and offered both of us free upgrades! We both attended an international conference and the conference centre can easily be reached by taxi. During my next visit I will certainly choose Barceló Reforma again!

Location is great. It is close to where we want to visit. Room is very clean. The hot water for showering is great. Room service is prompt. Breakfast is wonderful. The choices vary every day. The fresh squeeze orange juice and fresh fruit are one of my favorites.

The room service received is not what I asked for. However, it is not a big concern. Eventually we receive what we need. There are two unsolicited persons sitting on the floor outside the hotel. I think it is best to keep the hotel image clean without these unsolicited persons.

Property is well-situated and one can walk easily to the historic center and is close to the Revolution Monument where you can join the hop of hop off bus.(The Hilton Reforma is, however, better located.). Hotel also has 4 good restaurants with great service. Our room was nice and big and clean.

It was more noisy to our liking. It is a popular hotel and there are so many people staying here. The soundproofing is bad as you can hear people talking or moving around in the next room or in the hallway or the piano playing from 8-10 pm 4 floors below (on the ground floor lobby). The hotel does not police noisy rowdy guests after midnight. After a long day touring, you just want to sleep by 9 pm. Also, we had to call room service daily as there was always some items that were missing (towels, coffee kit). One day, we asked for a cab and we ended up being given a hotel service car unknowingly that charged us 180 Mex Pesos for a short trip instead of only less than half that amount!
