Best Western Kisumu Hotel

Stayed here several times - a consistent level of service. No hesitation in recommending to others. Restaurant serves good food.

As I have recorded on here several times, I dislike the dishonesty of the booking.com information that says rooms have a bathtub - none do - and despite reporting this misrepresentation on the first visit, still the site carries this wrong information. he hotel should not continue to mislead customers.

I LOVED the staff. Each and everyone was more than pleasant. They all showed concern for my needs, wants and more. They were all very polite and nice starting from the first time and stepped on the property to the time I left and every moment in between. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. When I return I will definitely stay there again. Awesome team.

The wifi was weak sometimes. The only thing that needs to be improved.

Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The restaurant and bar are both comfortable and I enjoyed the food there. I also liked being greeted with a hot towel and juice when I checked in.

It is a good location if you want to be fairly close to the airport but there's not much else around. There's also a weird thing with the electricity so you can't just have the bedside lights on; to have those on, you also have to have the bright foyer light on.

Very good value for the price. The hotel and rooms are super-clean, and the staff were all very friendly and constantly checked to see that I was doing ok. The breakfast selection is good and all meals I had were delicious and well presented. The room was a good size, very comfortable king size bed, well designed bathroom and shower with good water pressure. Only some minor repairs showing up in a few cracked tiles on the stairway.

Staffed by professionals, with above par amenities. The food was excellent. Breakfast served both indoors and outdoors. Excellent chef and well stocked bar!

It's a little hidden behind a mall. Drive to the location was a little confusing with the exit marred by ongoing construction in the area. Overall, it was a great stay! I would revisit in the future!

The speed during check in especially since we arrived tired and dusty,the food was fresh and flavorful,they assisted as with extra travel tissue since my sons had a cold,thorough orientation of hotel and facilities:),the staff were really attentive

It would have been nice to have a remote to control,to operate the air conditioner from the bed,the television was not clear,You can't operate the bed side lamp on it's own all the lights have to be on or not at all

Loved our stay here. All the staff was genuinely friendly and were all interested in our comfort and satisfaction, whether the guard at the gate or the manager. The included breakfast was great, both when we ordered ala carte, or the buffet. Restaurant meals were good as well. The room was clean and modern. WiFi was good. Staff attended immediately to any need/issue we had. Enjoyed the view from our balcony.

Great service, very comfortable hotel with all amenities. Beautiful garden, nice breakfast.

The only minor point is the location. From the airport you need to drive through downtown Kisumu to reach the hotel. However, the hotel is easily reachable and has nice, secluded parking. We felt safe inside the property.

The cleanliness of the room and all working facilities in the room. Except the mini fridge which does not cool drinks as required. The view from the rooms on the upper floors is breath taking.

We shouldn’t be charged a bottle of water. The hotel should atleast provide every room with a free bottle of water.

-Rooms were nice -Food was great -The staff very friendly and welcoming. In particular the guy at the reception didn't get his name. George Mien in the restaurant was super - he was very welcoming, happy to serve and very engaged at what he was doing. He gave us really good service.

Wifi in the rooms was too weak to work. Hot water in the shower run out by about 10.00pm both days.
