Hotel Nuova Grosseto

Staff were very good, room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, mainly continental. Location right next to the station. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel is very nice, simple, clean, and stuff is friendly, and english speaking. Location was suitable for us since it was close train station, when we arrived, and close to the bus station since we were going to the beach both days. Center of the town is 15 min walk, so it is not long walk.

My only dislike and discomfort are connected to the people sitting in the coffee bar and fast food restaurant around the hotel. I did not feel nice around them, although nothing happened and nobody said anything to me or my daughters. It is just this feeling that I had that was not comfortable.

Parking was easy in their small lot. Breakfast was ok. About a 10 minute walk to the old town center, which was lively very nice to walk through.

Grosseto is a bit gritty around the train station area, but we did not feel unsafe.

Coffee should be part of the breakfast and not paid The wifi works well but logging is a bit complicated. It is necessary to register and to complete the registration you will receive an email with a link or numerical code to complete the registration. However, your computer does not yet have a connection, so it does not even receive emails. I read the email on my smart phone using my data, so OK, but if I don't have a mobile with a data connection, how do I get to the email needed to complete the registration... ?

As you come out of the train station the hotel is right in front of you, yet very quiet for being so near the station. Good maintenance team sorted out broken shower screen and the water problem was resolved expeditiously. The Receptionists are very friendly and communicated very well in English and were really helpful during the whole stay. Even helped with best places to eat and phoning ahead to reserve a table for us as the restaurant we choose to dine at was small and very popular. Shopping in the town of Grosseto was only about 10 mins walk away. Ideal location.

Slight inconvenience. Came back from shopping and there was no water on one of the days. The shower door broke on first use. However the maintenance team resolved the problems expeditiously.

The hotel is right by the train station approximately 10mins from the town centre (pedestrian area). We stayed in a massive room which was cleaned to the highest standards. The staff was super friendly and not only they gave us tips about the town and the places we were going to visit during our stay in Italy, but also refused to take money for extra fruits we had. There is also a mini fridge which had 4 bottles of water which were free. Breakfast was also very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! They understand hospitality and showed it well. A nice surprise after a hot day, there was water in the mini fridge which was free! The room was very spacious, quiet and cool with adequate air con. Free breakfast was adequate but the coffee was great so no complaints. We drove so cannot say anything about public transport convenience but the parking was right in front of the hotel and although lined blue (which means it's paid parking) the hotel confirmed it's actually free parking so bonus!

We were lucky to have our room ready when we arrived. The lovely staff gave us a suggestion for lunch which was excellent. We stayed only one night to sleep off jet lag before a longer drive the next day. The room and beds were comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of selections. I would stay here again.

Next to train station. Good size room. Comfortable bed. All three staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast comprehensive- hard- boiled eggs; yogurt, cereals ( not just sweet).

Carpet on stairs had huge stains, and looked filthy and worn. Replace and immediate improvement!
