Hotel Villa Del Sogno

Great pool area, fantastic views of the lake. Attentive staff. Ladies on reception were very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and the service was good, however, we only realized on day 2 that we could request eggs any style from the kitchen (there weren’t any on the buffet) - there was no info about this or menus on the table (it was another guest who mentioned it). Thoroughly enjoyed the food in the pool bar which serves til 6pm, lots of choice and very tasty.

The hotel is a little out from the central/port area (about a mile) and a fairly steep climb from the main road, if you’re walking. Air conditioning was noisy & sounded like running water in the walls! As other guests have mentioned, the main evening restaurant menu probably needs changing more often, but it was sufficient for the time of our stay. If you are not driving to the hotel be aware that the taxi service in the area is very poor and you should reserve well in advance (as we did with the hotel prior to our arrival at the ferry port).

We travelled for 1 week in Lake Garda and took in some amazing views. The view from the terrace where breakfast and dinner is served is probably the best view we found in Lake Garda. The waiting staff are amazingly friendly, the Maitre-d, Florin takes amazing care of the guests and is incredibly knowledgeable about the National and regional wines. Patrick was our waiter for most of the week, he is incredibly friendly and genuine, he made us feel like we were at their home as guests, big and little brother.

Excellent service and food (in particular the breakfast). The hotel has a fantastic view across the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Very little. Perhaps adding tea and coffee to the rooms and as the location is a walk to the nearest town some additional transport options would be great.

Great Hotel and lovely staff - REALLY helpful staff! Location was lovely, with a nice view of the Lake but it is 20-30mins walk to the closest town area and boat stop.

Air conditioning could have been better - it didnt really change the temp in the room even if you adjusted it.

The views from this villa are absolutely spectacular. Our room was overlooking Garda Lake, and since the villa itself is perched up on a hill you had a panoramic view (which you could also enjoy from the restaurant downstairs). We loved the garden and the surroundings, the girls enjoyed the pool and overall the Gardona Riviera is gorgeous, with small little restaurants and shops all along the lake shore.

Nothing really to fault here. We had a very pleasant stay!

Bathroom was a bit basic - no tub and tather small, which was disappointing for a suite. Other than that, no complaints.

The walk to and from the entrance is quite steep if you are elderly/find it difficult to walk a car may be necessary. Bed and sheets very comfortable but at times I could feel where the two mattresses joined to make a double bed.

Beautiful historic hotel in an exceptional setting. Amazing staff - super friendly. Stunning culinary experience inc. wine list. Beautiful swimming pool directly overlooking the Lake. Pure class.

Nothing. It was all amazing.

The views were spectacular, the breakfast and lunches were delicious. We had our grandson for 2 nights to babysit and the staff were very accommodating in providing us with a cot for these nights.

The steep hill up to the hotel was very tiring and a struggle so I’d you’re old I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to tour around. And the fact you can’t get taxis doesn’t help.
