Solo Experience Hotel

Great sized suite and comfy beds (there were some stairs to get to the suite lifts which made it a bit difficult with luggage). Bathroom was small and very warm - and not well ventilated. Would have preferred the entrance to the suite be through the main bedroom rather than the lounge (especially with children). Breakfast was nice - but quite loud as the kitchen was in close proximity to many of the tables. Great location.

Room was not ready when we arrived (which was fine as we were early) - requested a call but didn’t receive one.

Perfect location to visit all main attractions in Florence. you can reach the Duomo in a short walk. Nice modern rooms were very clean, and the buffet breakfast was good. Service staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel allows dogs, for us that was very important. It was necessary to book a time slot for breakfast to avoid too many people during breakfast (covid safety measures)

It was difficult to find although we followed the hotel instructions but we understand that getting into the city center is not so easy. Parking charges were 35 euros per night (valet parking) buffet breakfast should offer more vegan options (bread, vegan yogurt and vegan pastries) especially when you announce it on your booking, but the vegan Cappuccinos were AMAZING.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Florence. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Large comfy beds. The minibar was included in the room price as a compliment which was such a nice welcoming gesture. Good sound isolation. And the view from the window was breathtaking!

The bathroom only had warm, not hot water, but I suppose that's what you can expect from such an old building. The airconditioning was not cold enough (only offered 21*). There were two very bright lights just above the bead that disturbed during the night. The breakfast quality was not the best, however, the choice was ok. The kitchen staff made a great cappucino. :)

Staff: both the reception and restaurant staff were super friendly and willing to do anything to help. We booked a day visit to Pisa and the restaurant staff offered to organise a 'breakfast to go' that we could eat on the train. Great variety of high quality food which set us up for the day. All the staff said hello and checked that all was good/if we needed anything. The hotel had that relaxed friendly atmosphere as soon as you walked through the door! Hotel: extremely clean and the beds were super comfy with a memory foam mattress - the best sleep of our entire holiday. Good room size with a couple of windows that overlooked the street and the bathroom was of high quality. Location: less than 10 minutes away from the train station and short walking distance from all the main local tourist places. Lots of local shops and market just outside so if you needed anything it was right on your doorstep. Overall: we would definitely come back again to visit Florence and stay in the hotel because of the friendly staff, quality of facilities and the location.

Nothing to complain about, if I'm being super picky it would have been nice to have a vanity mirror on the desk.

The hotel is wonderful, and exceeded my expectation, one of the best hotels I have stayed in Italy, the location is unbeatable, you can reach all the attractions by walking only, the service was excellent and the breakfast was wonderful as well, the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Miss Nina, who helped us a lot.thank to her bigtime.

WOW WOW WOW! We stayed at this amazing hotel for 14 nights and we were welcomed from day 1 by the most friendly and helpful staff who continued to almost treat us like family. My husband had a medical issue and needed to stay overnight in the local hospital. The staff were extremely helpful in organizing a Doctor to the hotel. The rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated also the housekeeping was of the highest standard. The location was excellent and very close to the train station and all other nearby restaurants, cafes and historical landmarks, you definitely don't need to catch a taxi anywhere. Nina (Concierge) was very supportive and helpful and had great knowledge of the area and was able to secure a booking to one of the most popular restaurants in Florence...thank you Nina! All of the staff including the hotel owner were amazing and were always on hand to make our stay a wonderful experience to remember! Only that we had to leave but hope to return one day!

First of all, the staff of Solo Experience was wonderful: very helpful, always very friendly and easy to get along with! We had mentioned problems with our train which was scheduled rather late on the day of our departure and Nina from reception really cheered us up and offered help in case we needed to find a hotel for another night (Solo Experience was fully booked that night). She absolutely lifted our spirits upon departure and probably saved our night with her positive attitude! All the staff was also very uncomplicated regarding the storage of our luggage for the whole day. Apart from that the hotel was at a perfect location, very close to amazing restaurants and around the corner of Santa Maria Del Fiore. The room was pretty and clean and the hotel offers a great continental breakfast. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back next time we visit Florence

Absolutely no complaints!

The room was extremely comfortable, good size, cosy, mattress was great and there was filtered water available. Slippers also a nice touch. Lovely view of the roofs of Florence as my room was on the top floor. The staff was super kind and attentive, really top-notch service. It was also super quiet! Location is absolutely perfect: 10-min walk from the train station but right in the centre, in front of the amazing San Lorenzo church with the Cappelle Medicee, close to all sights and yet super quiet. I am absolutely coming back to this hotel next time I’m in Florence!

The room I was staying in was on the top floor and was a bit difficult to get to (elevator but also some stairs) and the temperature was set to too warm. These are very small details though- all in all it was a great stay

This place is exactly what you need and in the location that you will need. It's about a 3 min walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo). The leather market is about a 1 min walk. This location is close to food and shops. This hotel is amazing! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms are a nice size and clean with cute decor and amenities. This hotel has an immaculate lodge and bar area. Although I missed the breakfast it appeared to be very nice at a very reasonable price. I will stay here again on my next trip to Florence and you should too!

Very good location, close to the center and walking distance to all important areas, including to the train station and the tram station to and from the airport. A few good restaurants around, a market, and a lot of shops. We had room 202 with a very nice view to the Medici chapel from both windows. Good soundproofing, high ceiling, wide comfortable bed. Complimentary minibar (1st round) including a bottle of sparkling wine, and nice breakfast with home made cakes (there was more variety than what the photos show, including yogurts with granola, fruit juices, hot drinks etc.).

The bathroom did not have any ventilation and it was very difficult to regulate its temperature - it was extremely hot and remained rather humid all the time. The shower cabin didn’t close very well.
