Hotel Cenacolo

Great room - junior suite - and staff. We had a lovely view of Assisi from our window. Restaurant and wine list excellent. Location is great - free parking and short bus ride to Assisi(€1.30 single, available at Tabacchi next door). No permanent bar, but drinks/cocktails are available from 1800, with snacks. Santa Maria degli Angeli is a short walk away with some really good restaurants too.

Lack of bar/Restaurant service during the day. Preponderance of bus parties(lots) from 1800 through 0800 each day - disrupting atmosphere. Neither factors game changers but guests should be aware.

1. The location is wonderful, with a distant view and quiet enough for listening to birds. 2. The staff is rather friendly, especially the restaurant. The dinner is higher than expectations. 3. The chapel is enchanting.

1. TERRible SMELL. Unfortunately, at my stay of the hotel(May, 2021; 2 floor) the floor is full of chemical smell which is doubtful for the health. I tried to open the window, but honestly it does not work so well. 2. Facilities are not cleaned enough. For example, floating dust is visible at a high level. Ok

Excellent location, very close to the Centre, but in a quite area. The hotel itself is beautiful. Staff was very professional, nice and helpful. Rooms don't come equipped with kettle, so we suggest requesting one in advance. We did and it worked perfectly. Breakfast was very good, as well as the restaurant. Nice plus are the free parking and being very pet friendly! Overall, we definitely recommend and would come back without hesitations.

The hotel itself was perfect, the only negative thing happened during our last night, where we had a bunch of very rude teenagers who started knocking at our door just for the sake of making noise. We complained to the reception and they were very quick in providing us with an another room (the suite!), so that in the end the night was saved! So shout out to the hotel staff! My only suggestion would be to avoid mixing group of young people with other guests.

The hotel was very well organized and clean and the people working there were very attentive and they even let us do an early check in and gave us a map of the city and some recommendations of where to go! We had dinner and drinks at the hotel also and they were all amazing. The breakfast was also very good and there were two buffets and freshly brewed coffee. We would certainly stay there again if we’re ever in Assisi!

Good location, nearby to church and train station. Comfortable rooms. Good continental breakfast from a very friendly staff. Dinner restaurant available a night. Good parking available. Beautiful courtyard. Full service staff if needed.

Often large tour busses arrived. This crowed the breakfast, lobby and dinner spaces.

Good location - on bus route, close to shops and restaurants. very comfortable beds. overall friendly staff, especially breakfast staff. neat and clean. breakfast was good - friendly Schalk made arrangements for our vegan meals. catered for vegans. there was a good spread of food for non vegans too.

check in clerk was not very friendly and not helpful. However his manager (Director) and his other colleagues made up for it.

Breakfast was very good, served at the table if requested. The hotel is located about 2 km away from Assisi but if you don’t want to walk there is shuttle transportation from in front of the hotel

The reception staff was not super friendly . For drivers, the hotel was a little difficult to find because there were no signs

Standard design spacious hotel rooms with modern comfort in a historic building. Free car park with easy access and night surveillance. Excellent breakfast including local specialties. Friendly staff. Perfect location to visit Assisi and the wider Umbria region. It's also close to railway and bus station.

No major issues. It's just that we missed a hot water kettle on the room for making a cup of tea in the evening. Note that the hotel caters to large groups and bus tours. When they come in late evening or leave early morning, it can be noisy in the hotel corridors. For the same reason, the dinner room and bar was not available on our day of arrival. It was not important to us, but it's worth mentioning so you better do not count on having your dinner planned at the hotel.

The hotel was very luxury in a well connected area. It was very close to the station and bus station so you could easily get around. It is in a lovely area with fields and greenery around which makes it a nice break from the busy cities. My room was standard, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly

The breakfast was fine . A lot of choice and the staff was ever so nice and helpful. Very relaxing stay. We will go again. Good parking in front of the hotel. Very good ambient. Good lifts clean room. good fridge . Nice bathroom with a good shower.

As with most of Italian hotels no TV English channels though they have tourist from the USA and Australia. This is a 4 star hotel you must have this service.
