Good value for money, beautiful food and friendly staff and plenty of them. We've stayed there a few times now mainly because of the reasons above and also it had a great location being on the outskirts of Tralee and close to the beautiful Banna beach

The only thing I didn't like was that I ordered a Gin and Tonic which was served in a mineral glass taking from the experience. I know it sounds silly but we don't go away much or drink much due to having children and we were away on our own and went for a few drinks

Fabulous room, bed, shower...... everything spotless. Very roomy. Comfortable bed. Loved everything about it! There were Ukrainians on the two bottom floors, but the children were especially polite, holding doors etc. The adults and teens were also very friendly.

I'd thought the breakfast was included in the €117 nightly rate and found out we had to pay an extra 20€. I thought I'd paid upon arrival, but receptionist on checkout said I hadn't. So I paid again, as I genuinely couldn't remember....wed booked several places! . I did get a phone call within 10 minutes of leaving saying that I HAD paid the bill on arrival! But a bit inconvenient!

lovely atmosphere and the views were stunning we stayed 2 nights and we didn’t hear a sound in our room at any stage we couldn’t get over how quiet it was which made our stay much more relaxing

the breakfast! and this one would be down to the chef because my sister and I asked for soft poached eggs but u could have bounced them off the ground which led to the fact that we choose to go elsewhere for breakfast the second morning, but evening meals were delicious with a good choice unlike breakfast

Ballyroe Heights Hotel ticked all the boxes. It delivers a 4 star experience in a 3star hotel. From check in to departure everything was top class. Staff are in a league of their own, often not seen in hospitality. Absolutely nothing was a bother, all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are generously proportioned and nothing is lacking. Bar food was delicious with an excellent choice and breakfast did not disappoint......the view alone would make your stay worthwhile. Cannot wait to return.

From start to finish it ticked many boxes. Parking was easy plenty of room I arrived with 3 small children and bags in tow, at no point did I feel stuck for space in our room. Even with 2 travel cots. These were all set up for us complete with sheets and cellular blankets. A huge variety of TV channels which is always a bonus... we didn't brave the restaurant so opted for room service both nights. It arrived promptly and piping hot. Nothing was too much to ask for they provided hot milk for bottles at bedtime and nothing was too much of an ask. The patience of each staff member who took time of out their busy schedule to chat to us all was greatly appreciated. Food is out of this world!! Not one complaint any day or night from any of us.

Very small point. My double buggy didn't fit through the main front door so I had to open the second door on the top and bottom latch to get in and out. This would not be an issue for anybody else staying so barely worth mentioning.

Staff polite and helpful even when there was a problem paying with my credit cardit Food was very good - both breakfast and dinner I travelled in a group of 4 and we were all very happy with all aspects of this hotel the view from the main rooms is wonderful and I was delighted to find I had the same view from my room

The lighting in our rooms was by table lamp and reading a book was difficult

The food was best we've had at a hotel in quite some time. dessert was particularly delicious. The breakfast was freshly cooked, no ban Marie thankfully. freshly made pastries were a bonus. The breakfast staff in particular Gavin, were very welcoming and good humoured. Room was very comfortable. Our first time visiting here, but it certainly will not be the last. I cannot recommend it highly enough

Breakfast orders were not listened to properly, me and my partner ordered the same breakfast asking for some things not to be added on with our plate, ie. mushrooms or tomatoes as my partner is allergic to mushrooms, his plate was handed out with everything on it and mine was what I had asked for. We had to swap plates and the mushrooms were touching everything on the plate
