Cendana Resort & Spa by Mahaputra

The staff was nice and the bed was super comfortable, the room was big and had a balcony. The breakfast is very bad for the quality of the hotel and is not free, and even if it was free I would go somewhere else.. I would recommend anyone to book without breakfast and just go to the restaurants in the area which have very high quality breakfasts.

I booked the room with the bathtub, but the room they provided had a very old bathtub that was not deep and made of rock (completely different from the picture) please inform your guests about this since for me is one of the main factors for choosing this room.

Nice location in center of Ubud and nice complex near jungle and rice field. We stayed here 11 nights, in 3 diferent room types, some are close toa disco and might be loud in the night, but the others are ok. Staff is very friendly but this is usuall in Bali I think.

Internet is not to fast (had much better in other hotel in Bali), I was able to work, but struggeled, in reception and restaurant got some better connection. They could add some baby chairs to the restaurant. Booked fast boat to Gili T from the hotel, turned into a nightmare almost (did 9 hours and arrived in Gili at 1 AM), maybe they should be more carefull selling services like this that are provided by companies that have 1.6 rating on Google. But a plus here, lady from reception was in contact with me and assisted us all the time.

The hotel has a beautiful balinese architecture and wonderful garden. The location is great to explore Ubut by foot. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful with all requests and additional trip bookings. All together the hotel is a nice experience to stay for few days.

The breakfast is a la card where you can choose 4 main options, but the choices are quite limited. The bathroom equipment is quite basic and has seen better times. The toilet seat looked like it had survived the last volcano eruption. The shower curtain had some mild traces. The hotel management could easily get better ratings for the hotel if those simple bathroom equipment would be changed regularly after few years.

The breakfast was the best that we had while staying in Bali. The second pool is beautiful

The doors into the room are beautiful however we had trouble with closing them and when you are inside the room there is no real way to lock the doors. The rooms we were giving were apart from each other and had to request some that were closer as we had teens with us. The staff did accommodate this for us. The room we were giving to be closer to our teen only had single bed and we tried to push them together but couldn't as the 4 poster bed frame wouldn't allow

Centre of town. Walking to restaurants, shops and markets. Two pools. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a bother. We had 2 Balinese full body possesses, it was perfect! I also had a cucumber and honey 1 hour facial, birth very cheap Ann's clean. Highly recommend massages!

Air conditioner could barely be felt. Very humid, needs fan as well to cool the room. Accommodation menu and complimentary breakfast was basic, we ate once in restaurant and went out all other times

Great location right in the middle of monkey Forrest road. Close to everything. Rooms are large, rooms are basic but it has a safe, fridge and large bathroom area. Staff are wonderful and helpful

The monkeys are very cheeky when your out in the veranda and will steal clothes, lighters, ashtrays (not resort fault at all) but I can't think of anything about the resort I didn't like. Shower is over bath so maybe a problem if you have mobility issues

The location is excellent and the room we stayed in quiet. Value for money. Basic tasty fresh breakfast. Walking distance to everything. Staff polite and helpful. Always willing to place us in the room we prefer. 3rd visit here and will be back again for another visit in 6 months time. So much space in the rooms.

The bathtub leaked so I had to refill constantly

Breakfast was good. 3 options available. Portions Might be a bit too small for a man.

The place needs some facelift and a bit more attention to details. There was a coffee table with the kettle but no PowerPoint around, we had to move the kettle every time we wanted to boil water. Ya hair dryer was also located by the mirror but mi PowerPoint observed nearby. There was only a sink in the bathroom which leaves no place to store your toiletries. We solved this issue by moving the coffee table to the bathroom as it had 2 PowerPoints :)

That was the secund time we stayed at Cendana and it was even better than in our memory. The place is very quiet while being extremely well located center of Ubud. Comfortable and fresh rooms, good beds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Superb garden, very well maintained. We enjoyed a lot the large swimming pool with beautiful view over rice paddies. We will go back again!

Right in the heart of Ubud but very quiet once inside the hotel. Loved the view of the rice fields from the pool. Very attentive friendly staff. Comfy bed!

The air con wasn't powerful enough for the room (maybe an old unit that needed fixing or cleaning?) so it was very very hot in the room. We did ask for a fan which the staff did bring and that helped overnight.
