Wildflower Hall, An Oberoi Resort, Shimla

The memorable and exceptional service, outdoor jacuzzi in the snowfall, the amazing pool, fantastic spa experience, outdoor activities… Rajat from outdoor hikes, Ashish, Suman, Manoj from hospitality, Joyce and Nunu from the Spa were just amazing. Overall a stay to remember.

The room was much smaller than our expectation. It was a 63 sq m “quadruple” room according to booking.com but turned out to be just large enough to hold a king bed and table. The large balcony is apparently included in the room size which was strange. Also the gym was merely passable but since it was empty that was fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Flower Hall . The breakfast spread was very nice and everybody at Oberoi was very prompt and made our stay comfortable. They have gone extra mile for arranging a very special dinner experience for celebrating my 60th Birthday. Thanks to all and special thanks to Sanyukta .

We had faced some issue while staying in room#102 since this room seems to be above their kitchen. We had intermittent noise mainly at late nights of moving of objects and some machine sounds . we had informed the staff but it seems they had no remedy. we faced this for all the three days with a answer that they never had this complaint :)

A great experience from start to finish. We had a great scenic drive from Chandigarh to arrive at a beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff are all so wonderful and helpful , nothing is a bother and they truly put the the well being and comfort of customers as top priority. We talked to the GM , Sumit , and his philosophy on customer care was totally taken onboard by his staff , and in fact the staff were actually singing his praises of how much he cared for them as well. The food and beverages manager Rajreise was just such a great guy and lavished so much care and attention not only on our dining experience but also any other needs to make our vacation an experience. All staff were excellent but the girls in the dining area really made us felt welcome and at home, Aarushi and Aakansha were fantastic, they were management trainees but with their approach and attention to customers, they will surely go far within the hospitality industry . All in all , an experience of a lifetime which has made us wanting to visit more Oberoi hotels worldwide and have many more. I would just like to give a big thanks to Sumit and his great team for giving my wife and I such a wonderful time.

Amazing stay. Service was excellent. It is nice to feel like a King for a few days. Staff is always tending to your needs, and finding ways to accommodate you. I recommend taking a trek up Shali peak. The Oberoi Guide was outstanding. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Food was great, especially that morning breakfast on the balcony. No complaints.

Wish they had some more variety of beers. Like Ipa's. That's just a personal choice, I basically only drink pale ales, and ipas. but no real complaints

We stayed there for 2 days along with our parents, we were a little underwhelmed considering it is such a highly rated property and Oberoi group is known for their service mindset. Our check in experience was tedious with having exchanged multiple mails in advance with our id s to then waiting for an hour in the lobby repeating the same drill. The room had minor glitches like flickering focus lights and draining issues in the bath tub. We expected all this to be inspected before hand. The service however was great, the view from the jacuzzi is to die for and is the USP of this property. The guided walks were great, the high tea menu can be improved however.

Excellent property, great facilities, fantastic staff and amazing food. Great eye for detail and the service levels are extraordinary. Nothing much to complain about here as far as the property is concerned.

Location of the property is a bit off and getting into the city for a visit to the key landmarks in Shimla can be challenging given the traffic in Shimla. However, the property offers enough to do within the property itself, so there is limited need to step out.

The 6km Sanctuary Trail walk with Naturalist Aseem Thakur was superb and the outdoor, temperature-controlled jacuzzi was a memorable experience. Strongly recommend both! A friend's injury required treatment at a Shimla hospital and Naturalist Rajat's support there was absolutely stellar. The views when visibility is good are stunning. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient...

We were there over the long Holi weekend and the hotel was fully booked. We thought this impacted food quality on one/two occasions and service levels in general at breakfast and dinner. Must add that the hotel took our feedback on board commendably and promptly attempted to ameliorate the situation.

Incredibly beautiful location amidst sich lovely hills and forest. Staff is very well trained, warm and cordial, everyone from the front desk, the waiting staff as well as the house keeping are extremely helpful! The heated pool and jacuzzi expericene is amazing!

The food spread needs to improve, the dining experience was a good one, but still lacks the wow factor which other Oberoi properties provide.

Everything was so smooth and so enjoyable right from the pickup until the final drop off that we wished we could have stayed longer! The view from the room was amazing and the food was delicious. All our outdoor activities were well taken care of. The highlight however for me was the staff. Just brilliant. They were all so nice and made us feel like at home and we enjoyed every bit of our stay and only wished we could have stayed even more longer. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone going to Shimla.

Nothing, everything was perfectly taken care of. It was a perfect trip for us!

we have been here before. It is easily one of the most beautifully located properties in India. The food is uniformly delicious and the service is extremely warm and welcoming.

No issues with the property. We were the problem ! It was wintertime this time just as the last time for us and it was really cold. But that was 1985 . . . and we were 36 years younger. The snow was a delight. This time the chill was a bit too much for our old bones. We stayed indoors and enjoyed the hospitality and the great food and the regal ambiance 😊
