The Grand New Delhi

We have stayed at The Grand previously and so chose to stay there again as we had a good experience and it is close to the airport. Our room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was also nice and big. The breakfast buffet was great. The restaurant staff were also very attentive, especially Sunil and Dhruv.. The selection at the dinner buffet was also good. They did a nice display for Halloween. The Gulab Jamun and Mud pudding were delicious The hotel was nice and clean and in a good location with easy access to the DLF and Ambience Malls, town center and the airport.

When we reached The Grand after a long journey from Jaipur there were so many youngsters in front of the hotel and in the reception area waiting to to go the club which we didn't expect. I think they should consider having a separate entrance and exit for the club so that it doesn't cause disturbance to the hotel clientele. We were also disappointed to find out the lovely Italian restaurant was closed and replaced by Playboy club!

I loved the way their staff greeted us with a smile every time they saw us. They were helpful and very accommodating to our needs. I personally loved their breakfast spread. It was just enough in terms of the variety and their egg love counter was really good. Overall we had a very pleasant stay!!!

I would have preferred a better view off my window. But, cant complain much as I took their basic room. It was really spacious and their bathroom was huge. It was very much a good deal for the price.

The Hotel was amazing, i would stay here again, the Staff and Mr Luv was great and accommodating to me and my guests need, fantastic pool and spa was great too, breakfast and dinner was wonderful, only fault was the afternoon tea was a little pricey but other than that the place was great, Thanks Sebastian guest apartment suite room,

nothing!

Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. However, the only issues is when you are paying extra for the view, like i paid extra for the pool view room, the view should be as it has to be. In my case, the pool was empty and all i could see was labour working in it.

washroom did not have proper doors for privacy.

It was a short stay and everything was absolutely remarkable. The lady at check-in had given us a nice room. We really love the pool view with the garden. Room was clean and spacious but the bathroom fixtures and the room decor was bit too old concept. What we have experienced if I'll compare with other Hotels. The lobby was beautiful with a 360 view. The food was delicious and the In Room Dining services were extremely quick. We would definitely recommend this Hotel to our friends and family.. Looking forward to stay back soon.. And special thanks to the General Manager who manned this hotel so well.👍

The Gentleman at the front desk Mr. Vaibhav was little unprofessional. As it took more then 20 minutes just to refund back the balance at Checkout. They even forgot to pass the discount on FNB. We were trying to tell him that I have to leave for a meeting And he looks more busy on another calls. That should be an issue, if he would have attempted to interact atleast at once That's all... Rest all went well.

All good - very convenient location. Its a very calm and quiet place to stay and the property is very empty most of the time. Best to eat at the mall next door to the property. All shopping can be done from the nest door malls.

They ask to cash deposit - the staff is very very uncooperative. Usually just 1 guy is at the reception. They will demand that guest deposit INR 10,000 as security in-spite of a booking. They are not interested in generating or increasing business at the hotel. In all the staff is comparable to a 2 star property. They refuse to accept DEBIT Cards

Good sized room. Good selection of breakfast items. Friendly staff at the gym and restaurant.

Breakfast area/restaurant gets a bit sunny in the morning sometimes due to the huge glass facade. Front desk staff looks a 'busy' during check in and check out.

Everything was good. Room was overlooking the garden . Staffs were polite. But need to be more cautious while handling the guest. Both front desk and IRD staffs

Bathrobe, broken holding handle in the shower area. We specificly asked for smoking room but were not given. Later they asked us to smoke in the same room. But didnot gave us the ash tray even after asking for it 4 times 2 times in front desk and 2 times in housekeeping.

Staff, particularly at the front desk, breakfast restaurant and lobby was courteous and efficient. Breakfast was good, particularly the Indian meal options. Room and bathroom were spacious.

Increase continental meal options in breakfast (cold cuts, salmon, etc). In the bathroom, the WC jet shower location needs to be changed appropriately. Room intercoms need to start working quickly (I was told about the phone upgrade and was provided alternative mobile numbers). The quality of complimentary room Wi-Fi needs to be improved significantly. In the room, a wooden sliding panel or a set of curtains could be installed to separate the sitting area from the sleeping area. TV channels, particularly on news, need to be increased. In the corridor, the trash kept outside the rooms by other guests need to cleared more frequently.

The property itself was world class. There were one or two issues but the staff took our feedback seriously and then tried to make us happy, including a room upgrade and some world class service from Sonam Goswami Guest Relation Manager.
