The Tamara Kodai

I liked the location the hospitality of the staff and the food in particular . I had been to Tamara way back in 2019 and the food quality had improved over the years . Persons to mention in particular are Syed ( activity manager ) , Ebi Activity staff, Sree Restaurant Manager, Shoba Restaurant staff, Benett Front office manager , Srinivas Restaurant trainee, Amol Restaurant waiter , Seeman House keeping. Last but not the least is the Executive chef of Tamara , Nitish

Check in and check out times takes longer than usual

Property was beautiful , clean and very well maintained . Safety procedures were practised properly . Bed was really comfortable . We had a great time .

The stay at the Tamara was almost perfect . One area of improvement would be the restaurant we’re the service could be defiantly improved . They are not looking around to see if the guests need anything . Their attitude to serve the guest is there but it seemed like they weren’t guided properly by the managers .

After having travelled a lot the past few years, I have to say this: This has been the best stay ! Especially the staff! One of the most courteous, kind, obliging people work here and take care of you so well that you are spoilt ! The quality of stay, the resort, every minute detail is amazing. This place can never disappoint anyone. So clean, so comfortable and beautiful ❤️ Counting days until we return back to this wonderful resort.

Tamara, Kodai is a resort that’s one of a kind. My wife and I stayed here for three days and two nights, and we haven’t ever seen such impeccable hospitality, excellent food, beverages and service, and such a gorgeous resort. Located right on the top of Kodai, jumping into the warm, temperature controlled pool was the icing on the cake! Special shout out to Namrata and Pari for the best service ever! Dennis, was amazing at the spa. And last, but not the least, the chef at Tamara, Kodai, is indeed one who knows all cuisines at the back of his hand; continental, India, oriental, were all unbelievably good. We truly loved our stay here, and highly recommend it for everyone. We eagerly look forward to coming back here soon.

The location, landscaping, decor and activities The staff are fantastic- special shout out to Kartik in the activities team and Chef Ranjit for making sure our stay was fantastic

We had a few hiccups with housekeeping not servicing our room in time and some noisy guests staying in the room below us- but they apologised to us and made up for it in service

I had some issues when I arrived but what impressed me was that I was listened to and action was taken. Mr Sujith Sankar the Exec Assistant Manager made sure that my problems were addressed and the staff could not not have done more to rectify the situation that was with their control. Although I was reasonably happy with the room and the service i do feel the hotel is overpriced.

Everything inside the property.. From the Gate Security to all the staff's were Polite,Helpful,Smiling and Treating everybody equal..

The strength of WIFI inside the room (303).. I have stayed in the same room for 5 nights and i didnt get the signal not even continusly for 10 mins..

very calm, close to nature, very clean and neat room and bathroom, lots of amenities available, excellent staff, excellent food

I would’ve liked to know what all documents are required for check-in ahead of time. I did not have my OCI card with me and had to have it to be able to check-in. Thankfully, I was able to get a soft copy but, the check in could’ve been much smoother if I had known ahead of time the requirements.

Very proactive staff. Helped us quite a bit in our trip and guided us locally (in particular Suresh). Example of proactiveness - my wife and I went for a early morning walk of the property and wanted to see the pool which was locked. Before we could return we were watched on CC TV and a staff member was dispatched to open the pool for us. Great hospitality all around

The Ambience, Rooms & Balcony view were Outstanding & facilities were no less than Greatness! Visiting again on Feb 2023 for the same!

I went as a solo traveller and had the kind of treatment accordingly in the restaurant compared to the families! That's understandable but Could've treated everyone the same as we pay the same Penny irrespective of how we visit!
