Kalyan Grand - a business hotel

The hotel is clean, modern and well-maintained. Aircon in bedrooms is powerful and effective. We found the staff very helpful and they went out of their way to look after us. They changed our sterling into rupees at full market rate quickly and efficiently. We would commend staff member Nandini for her attention to us as guests, but all her colleagues were great. We thought the food was good, and we very much enjoyed dhosa and idli for breakfast. We thought the suite we stayed in was very good value for money, with lots of space in the bedroom, seating area and bathroom. Our laundry was done very efficiently and to a high standard. Vandalur zoo is very near and worth a visit for the elephants alone. We hope to return.

Not much really. The breakfast coffee could have been hotter, and it would be nice to be able to get a cup of fresh-brewed coffee during the day.

Rooms are cleaned up every day, and housekeeping staff Ms. Gayathri was good and kept my room neat and tidy. Breakfast was good, and the staff at the restaurant, Mr.Vinodh, Ms.Vani and Ms.Sivashakari, were very nice and provided a good service

When functions are set at the basement party halls, the elevator will be crowded, and no one is at the lobby to assist the guests in entering the rooms smoothly. Power gets off very often in the room, and Internet signal strength has been low and due to this I had change the room twice.

I feel very at home here. it’s my second time and I look forward to returning. The hotel is small enough that I feel they know me and it’s comfortable. It’s very clean and has amenities that I want All minutes away from each other. The dining room is convenient as is the bar in the spa and the wonderful front desk people. The staff here is outstandingly friendly and personable. And helpful. The location is very close to where I come for work so it is extremely convenient for me as well.

It is located on a busy street in a not exceptionally beautiful area, but that’s what makes it so convenient! So it’s not really some thing I dislike. There are shops and restaurants nearby.

The staff is great. Jasmine at reception made me feel like a friend. Everything is comfortable and service is quick. I have stayed here twice and will come again for work. It’s beginning to feel like home away from home, which I think can happen in a hotel this size. The upgraded rooms are a very good value as are the basic rooms.

The Wi-Fi is less reliable at night. I will ask for a LAN cord next time for might work. I was able to do my work this time but I think a LAN would make it even easier.

I really like the staff here, and it is great value for the money. The location is perfect for my business situation. Jasmine, at the front desk, is exceptionally helpful and professional, but everyone is very friendly and helpful. I feel so comfortable here. The restaurant has very good food. If you can manage the best rooms, you will be pleased.

Everything was fantastic except the staff. Other than Ms. Jasmine (Front Office Executive) all other staff are not so courteous, which needs improvement. Rest it’s an excellent property with good facilities.

You may find all parking spots occupied around the hotel as there is always some day programme like training going on.

It could be better to clean the room day wise and the Soap, Brush, Paste were given only when we asked for that. Otherwise good about the guest experience.
