The Salvation Army - Booth Lodge

Great location! Direct bus line from the airport. Also close to a subway station. Lots of restaurants and shopping streets nearby. Room is very tidy and clean. Bathroom is nice and well-equipped. AC worked very well! Staff are helpful, especially the housekeepers!! They are very nice. I lost an earing and they kindly returned it! Highly recommend this place!!

I wish there was a toilet spray in the bathroom T^T You also need to bring shampoo and toothpaste with you. No drinking water is provided in the room. But overall it is a very nice hotel and will definitely come back here on our next visit!

Excellent location just off Nathan Road, easy to get to via A21 Bus from airport. Convenient to shopping and MTR. Even though the neighborhood is busy, room is quiet and I didnt hear any noise from neighbors. The elevator requires a key card to access the floor so I felt very safe. Great hot water, good internet. I was encouraged by the Bible verses in the lobby and elevator and the overall welcoming atmosphere. Nice that the room has fridge, hot water pot, safe and plug adaptor.

Wonderful experience in Booth Lodge.. Near A21 bus stop to/from the hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The location is the best -- near Yau Ma Tei MTR and many bus stops. I really enjoy the special package with one-way transfer. It's super valuable. I would love to stay here again in the future.

The room is quite cold so sometimes you must turn off the air-conditioned.

Location is the best, just 4 min walk from Yau Ma Tei station, which is convenient to go anywhere in Hong Kong. Also just 1-2 min walk from the Airport bus station - super convenient for going to Macau too. Plenty of restaurants and snack shops in the area - unbeatable! Very good value with the long-stay package. I stayed 13 nights. Room was really spacious - no problem with my two big suitcases and one small suitcase. Lobby area is very bright with a security guard and you feel safe even being a single girl alone at night. Very nice coffee/tea/hot water station near the reception. Staff were super friendly and helpful at all times, even helping me with my luggage as I was alone with several suitcases. Impossible to find such good value accommodation in the same area (in a safe and convenient in this district)! Hope to return again someday

One morning there was no electricity and water due to maintenance, but this was communicated before.

I've been to HK a few times & each time want to try a different neighborhood. This location was situated right in Yau Ma Tei, foodie land for those looking for "cheap" good HK food & not care whether you might need to share a table; or whether there's no English on the menu: simply point at the menu/pictures) & not for those looking for luxury surroundings such as in Tsim Sha Tsui, where I stayed previously. Hotel situated 1 block from Yau Ma Tei MRT, great "jook" place (morning congee), great bakeries & all day B-L-D eateries--they open early for BKFST! Hotel had everything I needed; great bathroom counters; very clean overall. Pleasant staff/helpful.

The elevator is a bit cramped; shared w/a daycare? --this is the headquarter for Salvation Army. With the price, don't expect all the amenities of a more expensive hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our booking included one way transport from airport to lodge, which was convenient. Out flight arrived late and we informed the lodge, driver was accommodating and understanding. The location was good, near to Yau ma Tei MTR. The lodge can also help arrange their in-house transport from lodge to airport on departure day. Guests need to bear in mind that this is a lodge, not hotel. The facilities are functional, sufficient but nothing on the luxurious side. Great experience for the price paid.

A very good accommodation more than we're expect. Big room and lot of space for luggage good location, easy to walk from bus stop on main street in few minutes, a lot of plublic transport around there, near famous restaurant, in front of hotel have 7 and groceria. quite and safe. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful.

During we're stay had one day didn't have water supply from district but hotel didn't have alarm or notice to guest until we found the problem then check with reception by my self. That weired in one thing,didn't have clean room service on saturday and sunday. For transfer service from airport, that a good service we so greatful but we think 60 mins after flight landed that are very tight becase HKG airport is so big, we're took around 10-15 mins to take train shutter from gate to immigration service then wait in line around 45 mins in process, so please consider to extend time for waiting.

For a weary traveler coming to Hong Kong for the first time, being greeted with a warm smile at the airport almost at midnight and taken to the hotel for free was very special! But staying at the Salvation Army's Booth Lodge offers even more comfort and joy! All the staff at the Salvation Army building are so friendly and caring, and the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The breakfast was really good and so was the coffee. The location is fantastic as you do not have to walk far to all public transportation. The area is also very safe. Lots of attention to detail.

I knew that the price of accommodation in Hong Kong was high, but I was satisfied because the room was in good condition for the price. I visited and stayed for 4 nights during the Christmas holiday season. Before departure, the weather in Hong Kong suddenly got cold, so I asked for a heater. The room was already prepared, so I could stay warm during my stay. It was very close to the subway and bus stop, so it was very convenient to move to tourist attractions. It was a twin bed, but they attached two beds and provided an additional bed, so I was able to stay comfortable. And I could eat coffee on the coffee machine, which was always provided on the 7th floor,

It can be noisy with the sound of a car horn coming through the window, but I slept comfortably with my earplugs.
