The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff very helpful and friendly , could not fault it however the location is not central to the city of cologne it is a bus and tram journey and very difficult to navigate at times

The neighbourhood is in a low socio economic level, and felt a little intimidating at times, I woukd not advise tourists to be wandering around there solo after dusk , we witnessed anti social behaviour ie drinking in parks , fast cars racing , drinking of large groups of men in playgrounds and parks

The hotel is actually quite nice, just on the outskirts of Cologne but easy access to city center by car/public transport. We used car to travel into the city as Cologne has excellent parking infra at a really cheap prices (compared to NL ofcourse). The hotel has a nice ambience and rooms very really clean and bed very comfortable. The house keeping is keeping the rooms neat. I breakfast spread is also really decent with almost everything that you would wish for in the morning breakfast. In the evening you could buy beer as well (in the reception/dining area) which is really cool. The staff is also courteous, esp Adam and Michael (who helped with some dishes and cutlery for food that I ordered from outside). Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

I think the AC was under maintenance (I could see some AC mechanics working) - it was a bit uncomfortable inside the room, but we kept the windows open and it cooled down considerably in the night. I think it's just those days when we stayed.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Cologne. It is located adjacent to MacD, so a quick bite is always possible. The hotel in addition to breakfast has a facility to order Pizza till 11.00 at night. They also have a moderately stocked bar. There are two types of parking, if you are early or lucky enough, you can park for free which is limited in number. The paid parking space is large and can accommodate over 25 vehicles at a time. I managed to get a free parking spot on all three days.

There is nothing much to complain about. With exception of access to the hotel by public transport that requires a minimum of 10 minutes walk. Ideally suited if you are traveling by private vehicle or getting a taxi to drop you off.

The property was spotless clean! staff where excellent! so helpful and spoke excellent English. the breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice. we were a family of four and stayed 3 nights. wonderful sleep, climate control was perfect in the room and bedding very comfortable.

room was a little cramped for four of us..(large big bed and a sofa bed) however we did stay for 3 nights so lots of luggage. If staying for a bigger night maybe e side of with a family have space. need a plug socket by the mirror. drying hair and trying to applying makeup in the mirror was hard as no shelf to put things on (that’s me being hyper critical). if you are going to the Christmas markets like we did then it isn’t walking distance we had to get a cab there and back which was around €30 each way. allow for this expense however if adventurous tram isn’t too far. if you have kids and do Christmas markets best to do daytime as it was very busy after around 5pm.

Everything so clean and comfortable. Fabulous breakfasts, large variety of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit as well as cheese, meats, boiled eggs, choices of breads and drinks and juices. Staff were really helpful, sorting out the fact I had to stay an extra day but I didn't have to change room, getting taxi etc. Location less than 10 mins from tram into centre. Also evening meal and a bear available in house if you wished. Very happy.

Not sure if it was a booking.com flaw but it would have cost me 400 euro to extend for one night. While it was 210 for 3 nights. So I just booked another night separately and got it for 92. ??. The room was a wee bit cold for my old bones but bed was lovely and warm and comfortable.

Everything was good except the room window which needed more isolation against street noise and airflow. Breakfast was quite satisfying. There were two parking options, one free of charge, which may be free during daytime, and the other one 15 Euros/day. The staff, especially Omer at the front desk was quite hospitable. Finally, although no dinner service available, you may spend time at the lobby and enjoy some Kölsch in the evening.

Room window or its sealing needs replacement.

The hotel was very clean, beds very comfy and staff very helpful! When we got our room the AC wasn't working. Adam who works at the front desk came up to our room, checked everything to try to find out the problem. Meanwhile he gave us a bottle of water and an extra fan for us to be comfortable while waiting. Since the AC problem couldn't be fixed that night we got another room! Adam was super helpful, went the extra mile and had lots of patience! Breakfast options were many, great variety of breads, was super good and delicious!

Dennis welcomed us with his smiling eyes (he was wearing a mask of course!). He speaks perfect English, something we don't easily find in other hotels in Germany. He informed us about the local and hotel health regulations and finished the welcome process quickly and politely. The room was spacious and very clean. We also had an extra bed and a baby cot ready as we had requested. The bathroom was also very clean. We loved the washbasin because it was low and our toddler could wash her hands without any help from us. That was amazing. The breakfast was simple but we didn't miss anything from what we eat in our breakfast every day. We were covered. The pancakes were a nice extra. We had a small problem with the device but a lady from the kitchen personnel immediately helped us solve it - she was speaking basic English but we were very happy she tried her best to communicate with us with smiling eyes! (yes, she was also wearing a mask) Overall our stay was very positive, thank you!

We didn't need it during our stay, but we think a small fridge in the room would be handy, especially during the summer. We are under the impression that this hotel doesn't offer fridges in the rooms though. Anyway, we are sure in case of need we would be able to store something in the hotel's fridge.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, I felt really comfortable with them. Our dog was welcome too. The room was clean and we made our best to leave it easy to get ready for the next people. I loved that we were given a ground floor room as requested if it was possible and the request was actually considered for real. Seriously, I loved staying for this one night and considering staying over next year too on our way back.

Nothing! This place is well managed and organised, Great value for the money we were charged.

There was extremely high cleanliness particularly noticeable in the room but throughout the hotel. Although it was a buffet breakfast, it was as Covid secure as possible. The breakfast was excellent: the fruit salad was delicious! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rules on Booking.com regarding COVID status were misleading. All guests had to prove they were double vaccinated or present a negative test.They did not need a PCR. As we stayed a week, it would have been helpful if there had been a cupboard or drawers in the room so that we could unpack.
