ibis Hotel Kassel

The staff was nice and the rooms were impeccably clean. No idea why the rating on Google Maps is so low, because the hotel serves it's purposes. The rooms are not super new, but they serve their purpose. I was in doubt about the modular toilet but it was very clean and had all commodities needed. The breakfast was not impressive but had all the essentials, and even lactose free milk and some veggie alternatives, which is very nice to have now a days. The parking only costs 5 euros per day which is very convenient, and the whole Hotel is close to the highway, so extremely useful for those like us who were just passing by.

I can honestly say the Hotel filled our expectations for the price we paid, so nothing really was to our distaste.

Staff - is the main benefit of this hotel. We got an issue with our locker during the state. Things can be broken. But the difference between good and bad hotels is how staff will react to this. In our case the person, who was working on Friday evening 28.07.23 should receive a bonus from the hotel. It was maximum of support and after I told that for us it is not critical and we will stay in this room was trying to provide free drinks, some additional benefits. Rooms are quiet, clean. Breakfast tasty.

Location - far from centre and main places to view. No restaurants near the hotel. Hotel restaurant had a small variety of food.

Very comfortable beds, and a good shower. Breakfast was of a very high standard. There was outside seating for meals. Inside eating area was spacious. Pizza for evening meal was tasty.

I was surprised to have to pay €5 to park the car. This was not obvious when I was booking on the app. I was also surprised to have to pay for tea or coffee outside the mealtime hours.

Very comfortable bed, cozy and nice room. Very clean everything. The breakfast was very good and with lot of choices. We loved that we could take the dogs with us everywhere in the hotel.

The coffee machine. The lactose free option is for big mugs, and I couldnt see any or had any indication. Else everything was fine.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Check inn and welcome went smoothly. There was enough parking space. Staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently close to the motorways.

The bathroom and showers were a bit on the cramped side, but otherwise they were fine.

Everything! The staff on arrival especially, as being British we are a bit useless largely at being able to speak other languages, but was super impressed by the young man and woman that greeted me on arrival. They were extremely professional and helpful too and should be commended for their attitudes and work ethic!

Easy access to highway and town; good facilities. The room was large (big shower corner). Staff was friendly àd everything run as you expect in an Ibis

Did not try the breakfast, but 14 euros seemed excessive for the offer.

Very clean and tidy, rooms were big and had everything we needed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also lovely. Check-in and check-out was quick and trouble-free.

The location is in an industrial area so it's not pretty, but very convenient as it's near the autobahn. So a good place to stay for a night on your way through Germany!

Great breakfast! Kind personnel. Nice place to stop for one night passing through. Dogs are welcome which is awesome!

Boring surroundings, but you get what you pay for and overall it’s good :)

Staff was very caring, we felt well looked after, nothing much was a problem. Standard rooms but very clean. Good bar and breakfast. Convenient stop if you are traveling through Europe, close to motorway. We always stay there when in travels. Recommend it!
