Boutique 053 Hamburg Main Station

right in front of hbf. literally 10 steps was all needed. 24 hrs reception. our train was delayed and we ended up arrived at 2 am. the front desk staff were waiting for us and helped us check in efficiently. despite located right infront of main road & hbf, not even a tiny little beep can be heard. managed to get 8 hrs sleep peacefully. room was small but comfy. cozy design.

they were supposed to provide baggage handling service. our flights was at 8pm but we were told they cannot accept baggage at the moment coz reserved for another big group that will be checking in(i still dont get it ) ; so we shall store it at the train station at it cost 2 euro only. No sir, for 30 kg baggage size it cost me 6 euro per locker and i needed 3. It was 18 euro total! It was right into weekend and hard to find available locker ( waited for 2 hrs) so ended up strolling around with 30kg baggage.

The location is good when you want to be close to the city and the train station. And though it is very central, you couldn't hear any noise from the outside. The room was cosy and very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly, too.

It's nothing major, but my bed was rather short (I'm 1.75cm tall and the bed stopped at my ankles) but since I travelled alone, it was no issue, I slept diagonal. I'm not sure whether all beds are the same lengths, it might be different in other rooms. The TV reception was temperamental too, no connection for the most part of the evenings. This may have been due to building works. I was out during the day anyway and at night I used my phone (free WiFi worked perfectly), so again it wasn't a big deal but if a TV is a must for others, ask first.

It's just right outside Hamburg's main train station so it's super convenient especially for early morning or late night arrivals. The room was surprisingly nice, cozy and have the amenities needed for short stays. The bathroom was tiny but was well maintained and there's enough space to hang clothes and towels, plus the shower area was glass-enclosed.

The elevator was tiny and there's a few steps up before you get to the lobby so if you're carrying heavy luggage, it would be challenging to carry up... the reception is on the other building unit (Boutique 051) so you checkin there, go out to get to your room at Boutique 053 - this could be an inconvenience when the weather isn't too good and if you have a lot to carry

Only transiting via Hamburg Hbf, so simple nightstop convenient to station required - which is exactly what I got. You check in at sister hotel (056, 059, can't recall) a couple of doors down and room card lets you into 053. Room is very compact, but everything you need is there and perfectly clean and serviceable. More than pleased at the price. Hotel is visible from station entrance, so couldn't be more convenient. Seemed to be plenty of places to eat in the area, one of which (Bauman's Bierbar) was excellent.

I can't fault the place itself, though after I'd eaten, I walked around the adjacent couple of blocks to stretch my legs. Once off the Kirchenallee, the side streets felt a little intimidating, even to one who is 1.93m tall and of confident bearing. Possibly just down to tiredness after a long travel day, but still, I didn't feel good about that.

The location is great, right in front of the central station. Everywhere we wanted to go was reachable easily on foot or by the S/U Bahn that went from the central station. The check-in process was easy (a few doors down from the hotel itself), as was checking out. The bed was comfortable and even though we were just on the first floor, the windows blocked almost all of the street noise so it was very quiet inside.

The hot water stopped working at one point during our stay. We had to call the reception and there was a problem with the boiler so it was out for the whole building. It took 3 or 4 hours before the water was hot enough to take a shower again. The shower doors weren’t very watertight and through normal usage, parts of the bathroom floor became quite wet which was inconvenient. There were also no heaters so the towels took a long time to dry.

At Boutique O2 I had a larger single room, and I think a smarter hotel than the sister hotel I had originally booked. Super comfortable, cosy room (410) with a great shower room. Quiet, with a view to an inner courtyard with trees - very relaxing.

Boutique 053 was closed. A note directed me to Boutique O2 nearby. Surely I could have been told this before I arrived? Anyway, not a big problem.

Good location, even being close to the Main station, the entrance part and surrounding didn't seem sketchy. The room was very clean and comfortable for solo travelers.

At around 4.50 am somebody probably mixed their rooms and entered mine. I was surprised that other keycards would work in different rooms. After this, I didn't feel fully secure in my room. In the morning wanted to share my experience at the reception but it was drop off key checkout and nobody was there to talk about the incident.

First loved how close it was to the train station and the underground. You can get to anywhere in the city from this location. Second, the restaurant around the area was wonderful. The Indian food restaurant was amazing in their prices were right up my alley. I also enjoyed having wine 🍷 at the little Italian food place. Food is not that great and a bit pricy. You have some amazing choices in food if you stay here. Third, the bed was amazing and so comfortable. I loved the amount of pillows. I could just curl up and sleep all day, but had to get out and explore the city. I did not do breakfast because it was not included in the price and there is a bakery right at the train station:

We stayed only for 2 nights. It was very convenient because it was accross the main train station with which we were travelling. It was also, very central spot to go all around Hambourg on foot and see the most seightseeings. The area around the hotel was vivid until late at night and there is a very cozy little restaurant by the door of the hotel , serving from coffe and breakfast, until late night suppe.

The only complain was that although there was a heating device in the bedroom, and the warmth was very nice in the room, (we were there in March), in the bathroom there was no heating at all and the floor was frozen. Not good at all when you wanted to have a shower!!!
