Hotel am Borsigturm

The hotel is not in central Berlin but it was convenient for our trip (visiting a family member @ Medical Park Hospital) The hotel is located right infront of a shopping mall that has nice restaurants, a 24/7 gym and an adults arcade hall The hotel have bicycles that could be used free of charge & free bottled water as well The breakfast was decent and had several options that are suitbale for vegans as well

It is relatively expensive relative to the location which is on the outskirts of Berlin (Tegel)

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Borsigturm and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all of my needs were met with professionalism and warmth. The room was beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I could ask for.al and

There wasn't much that I didn't like about my stay, but if I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the Wi-Fi connection, which was occasionally slow. However, this was a minor issue and did not significantly impact my overall experience.

We enjoyed every second in this hotel. It was very clean, friendly stuff, free water in glass bottles (green are better than blue). Also there is free access to the laundry facility. You can wash and dry your clothes for free, just bring your own washing powder. It is quiet area with the shopping mall next door. It is also around 15 min away from the Tegel lake. Highly recommended! Just remember that it is around 40 min away from the center, but well communicated with public transport.

Very good breakfast. Even for people like me who is lactose intolerant. They have a little refrigerator with lactose free products and vegan "butter". There was only one thing that i wish they had - oatmeal. They have coffee machine and tea on the ground floor which is available 24/7 free of charge. Coffee is of a good quality. Microwave is also available 24/7 (the same place with coffee machine). Our room was big with high sealing and good bathroom. Plenty storage and sitting space. Was very clean. There is also kettle, instant coffee, sugar and some tea in the room. You also get 1 bottle of water per day per room included in room price. The personal was very friendly and helpful. U-bahn is 1 min walk from the hotel and it is 12 min walk to the nearest train station (S-bahn).

If you are sensitive to noise, you might have a tough time. There is no any sound isolation at this hotel. Room doors are slamming so hard that walls are shaking. And you will definitely hear that as well. Other guests really not care that you are sleeping at 6 a.m.

I didn’t use the restaurant but my college said it was good

Breakfast was ok but I asked for a lunch packet instead and it was really not good. I asked later few times what I want in it but whole week no action from the stuff. Only one old sandwich a day is nothing compare to price of the breakfast and to what I saw in the restaurant

The breakfast was great. The location is very good, if you have a car. There is a private parking house next to the cinema, we arrived after midnight and felt safe in the neighbourhood. The staff is very professional and the price is unbeatable in Berlin.! We’ll definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

Staff were friendly. Very friendly. Our room was cleaned daily. Coffee and water and a selection of tea was available at no extra cost 24 hrs a day. Air conditioning/heating worked fine. Soundproofing was perfect. Our double bed was two singles pushed together. Took us back to our youth. Lifts were very efficient. The bar was quirky and the bartenders were hardworking and so friendly. Plenty of free Parking and outside the hotel but the area is safe. There is a mall opposite and a few nice restaurants to walk to. Some nice cafes too. Basically had everything including good nearby public transport. Yes I would stay again. The lake nearby is lovely.

The hotel was perfect but the mosquitoes were a little challenging when outside. That’s just a little warning to bring repellent!! Out of the control of the hotel who I am sure would love to have sorted if they could.

It was very nice stay at the hotel. Room was nice, spacious and clean. Hotel is located in the beautiful and peaceful neighbourhood. Also different transportation stations/stops are near to go to the Berlin center. Breakfast was great and rich aswell.

Very nice hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and clean and it really surprised me to see that there was no dust in the room, where in other hotels there is plenty of: on the top of the TV, on the window sills and so on. The room was clean and it had a neutral smell, it didn't smell like air fresheners or strong cleaning chemicals. Breakfast was rich and it had plenty to offer, from cold cuts to cooked dishes, fresh orange juice, coffee was also quite good, hand sanitizer was available at every table corner, the staff wore masks, all in all, a pleasant breakfast experience.

The only negative comment is regarding the parking space on the hotel property. It's very limited, about 10 cars. Fortunately, free parking spaces are available in the street, some 1-2 minutes away from the hotel entrance.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff was accommodating, I managed to get an early check in, at 10am instead of 2pm, which was highly appreciated as I had been travelling all night. Free coffee, tea, water and drinks in the lobby.

No irons surprisingly.
