Holiday Inn Express Baden-Baden, an IHG Hotel

For a short stay, the hotel was very good. Room was fine, quiet, at top floor, and we also had a nice view. We were happy to have the air conditioning as well. Breakfast was good, and depending on the weather, you can also sit outside which we found very convenient. Hotel is very close to the city center, few minutes walking, and there are also plenty of places nearby where you can have a drink or dinner. The bar at the hotel is also nice. Staff was very friendly and the room and restaurant/bar area were clean. Parking is convenient as well.

Coffee was not that good, despite the coffee machines, and kind of missed the omelet and the bacon. We also felt that the beds were a bit uncomfortable, and a bottle of water was missing in the room. Also there is no safe, and the wardrobe is rather small.

The beds were very comfy. We all had a good night sleep for five nights. No backaches and relevant drawbacks. Even the extra sofa bed was comfortable enough for our child. It was rather large also considering it was an extra bed. It could support the sleep of two young children (Even two slim adults). I also liked the smart door feature in the bathroom: The door could lock in two positions: the first was the normal position. The second was isolating only the toilet, letting the rest of the bathroom (sink, shower, mirror, e.tc.) available to the other room users. It was really smart. In general, the room space was not large, but it was well utilized. The lights were more than enough for all situations. (Bright room, Sleeping situation).

The cupboard was too small. We had to keep most of our clothes inside our suitcase. Furthermore, the cupboard had no doors and had only 3 small shelves (30cm wide) available. No drawers. Only one hanger (30cm wide), and 3 (rather nice I have to admit) hooks on the wall. It would be more decent if there were shelves, instead of an iron, and an ironing board, inside this small cupboard. With the double sofa opened as an extra bed and this small cupboard, the room turned up pretty small. A smaller extra bed might be better. There was no fridge! (There was no room for a fridge either). We had to keep some medicine and food outside the window for preservation!

The rooms and beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast was lovely and was just what we needed. The location was great for where we wanted to go and we always like to walk. Thank you

We had some issues with our bus driver from the train station to the hotel. He was not friendly and not helpful. We were told to get off the bus at the end of the route. I asked him where our hotel was and he yelled at us to get off the bus. The next bus driver was amazing. Explained things well and advised us when to get off. We liked him😃

Nice and clean hotel in a very affordable price. The breakfast was not "top" quality, but it was fair for the price. The hotel also provides with exterior tables for breakfast, which is very convenient for warm days. The hotel has a private parking place.

The location is average, in the sense that it is close to the motorway (so easily accessible), but it is about 15-20 minutes from the city center, through a road which gave us a sense of unsafety when we returned.

A large chain hotel close to the center of Baden Baden . Reception was very quick and helpfull , the rooms though a little small were clean and tidy and good for the price . For dinner we ate out , however breakfast was very good with a wide selction available . Underground parking is available but the car park is a little small for the size of the hotel , we squeezed our motorbikes in by the barriers for no charge , so all good for us .

I liked position of hotel and its furniture in the rooms!

I stayed 2 nights - repcetionist recorded to my room-card one night only so card was not working in the second day in the evening, This happened 3rd time already... Second problem was cleanless of the bathroom in the day of arrival. I found many black long hair on the floor all around the bathroom (maybe of the cleaning-lady?)

Location is excellent, with easy access from/to the highway and just two hundred meters from the pedestrian city-center. Modern building with good facilities, in-house parking (although with limited capacity and no reservation possible). Spotlessly clean room, nice breakfast (quality/variety).

Although the rooms are fine for two persons, they are on the small side when used for three persons. When the sofa is turned into a third bed, it leaves virtually no space for anything else in the room.

Eventhough the property is not downtown it has the great advantage of a parking and walking distance to the center is not too far. At the reception you always find someone who can help you with anything, even if they need to store your medicine in a fridge. They were quite fast to provide me some vegan milk products in the next days as there are literally none at the buffet. The rooms are nice, just very small, very comfortable beds, for sure the ones facing outside (and not the internal court) are the better option. Overall a very nice, convenient hotel.

There are only a few comments such as the morning buffet doesn‘t have any vegan options not even yoghurt and milk products without dairy. So you gotta as and eventually they will buy some especially for you in the next days. So if you stay only a few days make sure to ask in advance! Eventhough they have parking for their guests, it‘s not for free and you can‘t reserve it, first come first serve. In the bathroom there are missing a few simple things that would make it a better hotel room, such as a cup where to put your toothbrush or a heating (it wasn‘t cold in the room, but in a bathroom you know you want always those few degrees more..)

Great room, comfortable, had all of the essential appliances. Breakfast was amazing, a lot of choice, fresh fruit, yogurts and bread. Hotel itself is close to the center, around 10minutes of walking, there's a bus stop and supermarket nearby if needed.

No fridge in our room, tv was old and could not connect to our phones.

Location was great. Handy to buses, train station. Room was comfortable. Limited space and no drawers for clothing. Would have liked a safe in the room. Everything at breakfast was fresh and plenty of selection

There was nothing I didn’t like. All good
