ibis Troyes Centre

Fabulous location, 5 minutes walk from town centre and all the beautiful little streets and crooked houses. Very spacious hotel room (bigger than other Ibis hotels we have stayed in), nice and comfy bed, good facilities (including tea and coffee at discretion in Reception area), friendly staff, easy to find and to park (underground parking way more spacious than expected and easy to get in and out. Note for parking, you will firstly need to go at reception and get the code to be granted access). Another big plus for us is being a dog friendly hotel (our dog was even allowed to join us for breakfast x)

A standard Ibis hotel - a standard lobby, a standard room, everything as expected. The location is fine to go for a walk in the city centre. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast.

The lift was out of order. Our room was on the 2nd floor but no problems, we managed with the luggage. And the helpful staff helped the other people to bring their luggage to the rooms (a family with a baby). It´s a pity the hotel management did not consider providing a discount when the provided service level was lowered. The women at the reception desk for sure are not competent enough to lower the price.

Modern hotel set close to the old town of Troyes. Large room, lots of room sockets (not common in many hotels we stayed in on our trip). Parking in secure garage was easy. Overall just a very comfortable stay. Rooms well insulated from noise outside. Excellent location if heading north for the channel crossing. (4 hour drive on toll roads).

Despite what they say the staff do not really speak English (about the same standard as my O level french) but we got through. Breakfast was well presented but seemed a bit of a bun fight as the space available for the number of guests was tight.

This is a fantastic and convenient stop-off on our journey home from the Alps, and we have stayed on several other occasions. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything in the room is fresh and clean. Good, powerful shower. Conveniently close to the town centre shops and to enjoy the very beautiful buildings. Hippopotamus steak restaurant next door is highly recommended too.

The staff were amazing. My partner was ill and they supported us throughout. Calling the Dr extending the room even though it was fully booked. They spoke to the pharmacist etc. Thank you very much. The hotel was clean, the beds comfy and breakfast good. Ten min walk to town with some great restaurants. We are bikers so definitely stay again on our next trip.

We liked it all even parking under the hotel

Breakfast was excellent Room was comfortable and clean Bed was very comfortable.

Parking spaces were full and we had a very tight space to get the car in so not very easy to park With the window open there was some noise coming from the outside Would have liked SKY tv in the room to watch the English news - only French channels available

Breakfast was good. A nice selection and all very fresh. The location was ideal for us a ten minute walk to city centre but easy to get to by car. We chose to pay 10€ for the hotel’s secure underground car park which worked well for us as car was full of luggage. We had lovely quiet room on third floor.

Bathroom was a bit of an odd cubicle in corner of the room but it had a good size shower and everything else that was necessary.

A perfect overnight stop on our trip up from the south of France. for a budget hôtel the facilities were great, the rooms large and everything was clean and we liked the modern style of the decor. . it was only a short walk into the town centre, where we enjoyed a lovely evening meal and there was free parking just next to the hotel. As regular visitors to France, we will undoubtedly stay here again.

I travel by electric car and I was pleasantly surprised at finding a charging bay in the undergroud parking which meant that I was able to plug in and charge overnight. This allowed me to start the journey back home the next day with my car on 80% charge which was fantastic. The staff were excellent and provided great local eating out advice.

Nice staff. Clean, new hotel with well appointed rooms. Fairly decent car park (10 euro per night). Pretty good in general. Good free WiFi.

It's actually about a 10 minute walk away from the centre, despite the name. It also has a very silly lift that stops at 0 every single time regardless of whether going to -1 or not, and regardless of whether anyone wanted to stop there. Needs reprogramming, also to take people going up first instead of forcing them down to -1 if someone is waiting down there (big waste of time, with Covid lift sharing isn't even allowed anyway). Minor issue overall though.
