Hotel du Pré

Very welcoming and cosy hotel, totally unperturbed by its competitors trendy and zen décors, it has unashamedly kept a very traditional décor. Had large double room at the back, very quiet. Did not have breakfast. In wonderful location, street has a staircase as you're at the base of what will become Montmartre. Hotel is just across from a typical Parisian park, Square Montholon. You are near enough to Gare du Nord, yet in a genuine 'quartier'. I had a great chat with Jasmina at reception who was most friendly accommodating.

Very nice hotel with great staff. Hotel is in a great location for easy access to Poissonnière Metro station (line 7) and 10min walk from Gare du Nord (and Gare de l'Est). Breakfast was quite nice and even though I had an early flight on Sunday morning, it was ready early and meant I didn't have to travel on an empty stomach! There are some nice local restaurants nearby, that are away from the tourist trap areas so are quite reasonable. There are also 2 small steps to reception and to the lift, but other than that the lift access meant it was very easy to get my large suitcase to the room. I would definitely stay here again.

No major issues at all! The only minor thing I could say is that shower in the room I was staying in was quite small, but also to be expected in Parisian hotels so wasn't really a problem!

The staff were v welcoming and helpful. My room (55) was a lovely size and the bed v comfortable. Doors opened onto a small balcony with a view of the street. I couldnt have wished for a better location. A great park at the bottom of the road. 10 mins walk from gare du nord. Between cadet and poissonaire metro stations. The grand boulevards are only a few streets away, a 20 min walk to Opera and about the same to monmatre. Will definitely be staying again

The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast and the lobby, breakfast room are very tastefully decorated and pleasant to be in. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is beside a very pleasant small green park.

I liked everything about the hotel. It's a bit farther from some if the main tourist areas, but the public transportation is easy to access and close by.

The Hotel du Pré is both a cute and vintage place to stay. Our room was bright and quiet and on the top floor that included a view. The bathroom was large -- probably the largest I've seen in a vintage hotel. The Wi-Fi was strong and safe for us. The petit dejeuner was more than petit and the coffee was just right. A staff member ordered a taxi for us that arrived less than 5 minutes later. There is a cute park almost right out side the front door and lots of neighborhood cafes, bars, boulangeries and restaurants nearby too.

We wish we could have stayed another night.

First and foremost, a good stay will not be possible without a great assistance from the front desk and this is where this hotel stood up from the rest! We travel a lot and the courteousness of the manger, named Mr. Sala is impeccable right from the moment we stepped in until the moment we departed. The place and customer-relation are so superb that we adjusted our stay for 1 more night. Do not think twice to book this lovely hotel that sits in the heart of Paris. Everything and every shop is within reach in its location. God’s blessings be upon the entire staff and management of this hotel, Hotel du Pré. you made our stay memorable especially to our children.

The location was fine. Lobby is also great, you can just spend some there, it has a very nice atmosphere in english style. The rooms are fine, they go well with city style. Beds are quite comfortable, however, in some rooms double bed consists of two smaller ones placed next two eacb other. Hotel staff was mostly friendly, there as only one administrator which seemed severe. Didn't try breakfast

Comfortable room and very good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal - in the 10th Arrondissement, but away from the tourists. Excellent transit access and shops and restaurants.

Acoustics in the room were less than ideal. I was awakened in the middle of the night by sounds coming from an adjacent room. The bathroom was huge but could be updated.

Spacious room and had everything you needed. It was very near a Metro station. There was a supermarket and loads of restaurants nearby. It was relatively quiet. I had a wonderful stay here and would stay here again. The breakfast was also lovely.

Walls were a little thin as I could hear muffled voices from the other rooms and when they use the shower/toilet. I still was able to have a very good sleep notwithstanding.

The location is very nice, where I was it was very quiet. I did not hear anything as I had the balcony side. The breakfast was small but had good enough for light breakfast for people like myself. The room is tidy enough.

The sink or bathroom perhaps it's old, but it does need some bleach on it. Or change of new sink as it was semi yellow tinge color could be just from being old. The walls are bit easy to be heard, so you could hear people flushing toilets or if people spoke too loud.
