Hôtel d'Orléans

The staff were very helpful, the room beautifully prepared and breakfast was good. So close to the centre absolutely perfect.

I was cross when less than 12 hrs before arriving I got an email indicating due to a festival most roads close to the hotel were shut and to come a certain way in, ie via an underground car park. This proved difficult as the directions were not accurate and eventually we found someone in the car park who helped. Due to this delay I had to pay a car park fee. Had I been notified prior to the hotel taking payment from my bank card I would most certainly have found a hotel outside the city limits.

The family room was a great option for us, as it can be difficult to find rooms that accommodate 4 guests. The kids had bunk beds that they were very happy with. The location is very central - literally steps from the historic city centre.

While parking is available, we didn't realize it needed to be reserved in advance for an extra cost of 20 euros. Thankfully there was a spot available and the staff were very accommodating. The streets surrounding the area are also very narrow (typical of historic parts of Europe).

Very polite and helpful staff! It was really appreciated on a hot day to find two bottles of water in the room's minibar. The hotel has secure parking. Spacious shower. Comfortable bed. Very good breakfast! Great location, in the heart of the city!

The room was rather small, it might be an issue if you have more than one suitcase. The parking space is narrow. Fortunately there is plenty of space on the street to manouvre and the hotel staff help you to drive in and out of the parking.

The location is perfect, and many restaurants and shopping shops are nearby. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to be in the centre of Orleans and near everything. I will stay there every time I will visit Orleans

There is no laundry, and maybe this is the common culture of hotels in the city. I didn't suffer with that because I used to travel with a very organized travel bag, but my friends suffered from this point, so Please bring your dry iron with you for urgent quick action; otherwise, you can send your clothes to the nearest laundry

An excellent little boutique hotel just off the main square in central Orleans. The location is about as good as you are basically in the main part of the town. The service provided by the three ladies I met working at the front desk was excellent. They were all very helpful and with big smiles.

The bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Maybe some softer beds and more fluffy pillows. Other than that the room and bathroom were completely adequate for an overnight stay.

Nice hotel in a quiet side street just off the main square, so location was perfect. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the room, although not large, was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

The only very slight negative was the parking garage, as not the easiest to manoeuvre into one of the allocated spaces with a larger car, but once in, it was very secure, just probably not suitable if you have a very large car and want to go out in your car often.

Excellent location, could walk to everything we wanted to see in the town centre. The staff was great, very helpful from the booking in, walking me to the reserved parking space, to friendly advice on good restaurants. Very nice hotel.

zero negatives. i mean, the space was a bit tight, such as a tiny elevator, and the room had no extra space - just enough to put our suitcases down, but this is not a negative, the hotel made it cozy, comfortable, and clean.

Location - FANTASTIC. Staff - kind and helpful. Breakfast - good. Room - clean. Lift to upper floors. Communication for questions pre-visit were answered quickly.

Hotel parking (ordered in advance) cost 20 Euro which we didn't know when ordering the place, only when I asked. As we arrived late, we parked on the street and paid via a meter for a couple of hours in the morning. If I would have arrived earlier, I would have paid for the parking - it is well worth it (as mentioned, location was very good). Besides that - everything was great.

Parking garage immediately adjacent to hotel. Hotel nicely located close to sight seeing objects. Friendly staff. Communication via booking.com email address worked very well, especially keeping the staff up to date on delays.......:)

Compared to the pictures posted on booking.com, the rooms are smaller. This is no problem because everything you need is in there, and it's clean and everything works, but when you enter the room the expectation is a bit different.

Uniquely perfect location, right in the centre. Despite this central location, very quiet at night. Breakfast very good (coffee & tea, bread, original French cheese, freshly prepared orange juice etc.), option to have a parking place (garage) right next to the hotel, staff attentive and friendly.

There was a smell of cigarettes in our room when we arrived, which probably came through the airco from another guest - we just put off the airco and opened the window over night, enjoying the fresh air - as the street of the hotel is very quiet, this was no problem!
