Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Nîmes Centre

The aparthotel was great and right next to the station. Nice room with kitchenette and good WIFI and nice breakfast as well the following day.

NOTE: my booking here was last minute; I was intending to stay in Lyon this night but was stranded in Avignon and Nimes was as far west as I could get. My plans were thrown out of the window thanks to the strike by rail staff, which totally crippled transport apart from local buses/metro. I was lucky to make it to Toulouse the next day from my flight home. I saw nothing of Nimes itself - when I arrived at the station (by bus) there were protesters and riot police so I did not venture outside the hotel.

Lots of space, well equipped kitchenette and the AC-room was nice and cool (but as mentioned in other comments, not possible to open a window). The location couldn't be better: right across the train station and the stop for the shuttlebus to the airport and a beautiful 10min walk to the city center.

The bathroom didn't seem too clean. There were some hairs of former guests and the shower curtain was sticky and looked like it needed a change. These are details though, we had a really great stay and think it is very good quality for the price.

The room was very spacious and clean, the bed in my double room was big enough for two people to sleep comfortably, and the location was next to the train station and very close to attraction sites. The aircon in the room was good too, so definitely no need to worry if you are thinking about staying during summer. Staffs were also super friendly and supportive.

I didn't find a hair dryer in the room, but probably they could offer one if you ask (I didn't), so it would be better if they can provide one in the room.

Very clean and well presented. Lovely to have a balcony.

Female staff member at reception seemed perplexed when I asked for some milk to use with the tea and coffee satchets supplied in room. I was pointed in the direction of shop, close by, to go buy milk. Why provide the tea and coffee??? Shower tray was cracked in one of the front corners. Could possibly cause a 'cut'. Room number 415, Nimes.

Another rock solid, great value, no-nonsense apart-hotel in the chain, with decently equipped kitchenette and proximity to the town centre, right behind the train station and next to the bus station. with a well-equipped supermarket below. Recommended.

Unlike other Zenitudes in Narbonne and Béziers this one was a bit noisy, due to its proximity to a busy street. Nothing deal-breaking though.

I guess I got lucky because my room was pretty clean and no bugs or smells to speak of. Totally comfortable with a nice kitchen for the price. And great great location if you’re using the trains like I was. WiFi works. Front desk was super sweet as well. Sure it’s not the Hyatt but it works!

The window cover was little dusty and could have been cleaner but no big complaints.

All good. Great location, a short walk from the centre. Smooth check-in with a very helpful and friendly receptionist. The room was a good size and had more facilities than we expected. The air conditioning was so welcome, as it was particularly hot during our stay. Would definitely stay again and Nimes is worth many visits!

A lovely apartment right behind the train station! The kitchen was perfect for me to cook our meals. The staff were very helpful, even checking our luggage before and after our stay so we could tour the city.

The room faced the street, so noise was a factor. Not for light sleepers.

Conveniently located close to station and within easy walking distance of amphitheatre, Musée de la Romanité and other historic sites. Welcoming and very helpful staff. Well equipped room at a reasonable price. Added bonus of Carrefour convenience store next door.

No negative comments.

the receptionists are courteous, and always have a smile and let's not forget the housekeepers who do a remarkable job every day

the only negative point is a pity that there is no Netflix or Chrome Cast on the TV
