This place is in a lovely village location, with very good private parking. The room was a good size and nice and clean.

Considering the good price for the room, the restaurant did not match and was unexpectedly quite expensive due to it being Nouvelle cuisine. The food was very good, but as there did not appear to be much else nearby, you have little choice but to eat in the restaurant and they have a captive audience somewhat. Therefore it no longer remains a reasonably priced stay (and that was just for two of us). We did not have the breakfast.

We did not realise this was such an amazing restaurant. Possibly a destination restaurant? We tried the Menu Degustation for €99. Oh wow! The beef deserves special mention, perfectly cooked. You are presented with a glorious book titled "Le Cave" filled with a stunning collection of French wines, champagnes and various spirits. Unfortunately we did not try any as my husband prefers beer and I get light headed just sniffing a cork! If you are a wine buff, please visit. The vistas and garden were lovely too. As was our room.

We decided to repeat the option of spending our first night in France, after a very long journey from Australia, at this gorgeous little hotel in the Champagne District. we are so thrilled we did. superb hospitality, stunning food in the in house restaurant and a very comfortable room to stay in . The best start to our French adventure !!!

Our room was spacious and comfortable and the auberge was conveniently situated for our journey.It has a wonderful restaurant on site and is in beautiful countryside with a lovely circular walk for the dogs.

The restaurant was quite pricey-breakfast €18 and we could not work out how to turn the air conditioning unit on so it was rather hot in our room.

Not so much a hotel as a restaurant with rooms - the focus is on the cuisine. However, the room was comfortable and the bed very comfortable. We had a very good meal with very good wine - tick. You need a car to get here, but it is well positioned for champagne lovers.

Some tea/coffee facility in the room would be good, since out of high season and especially in winter, one would have to sit at a table in the small bar and ask for this from the busy staff. Alternatively, a nice touch might be to offer staying guests something on arrival.

Simple accommodation but perfectly comfortable, however the restaurant was outstanding and somewhat of a surprise as we hadn’t realised when booking just how good it would be!

We were on the top floor and the room was a little small, as we had our dog with us too we found it ‘snug’, however would have been fine with just the 2 of us.

The staff were amazing. We arrived late after a long drive in bad weather. The kitchen had closed, but they still managed to give us some amazing food and drinks. A delightful breakfast, great suggestions for places to visit and a cracking wine list.

Water and tea and coffee in the room would have been great....and why no glasses... only paper cups in the room!

The hotel is really nice. The restaurant is just fantastic. Great food and an amazing wine list. Not inexpensive, but when having such a great dinner - who cares?! Breakfast is also amazing. A great assortment of just about anything you could want, and beautifully presented.

The only criticism I have of this hotel is the size of the rooms. But to be frank, with such a great restaurant and surroundings, you do not need a large room!

A beautiful remote rural location with lovely views over the Champagne vineyards in the valley of the Marne. First rate regional menu with fantastic wine list and great service throughout. Comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious - and a real highlight when it can be had on the sunny terrace.

The dinner is high quality - but it does have a price tag to match. (Room is good value.)

Very comfortable little place with helpful staff and an excellent kitchen. The food in the evening was of a high culinary standard served with care and attention. Breakfast was similarly enjoyable.

A little bit of road noise but more than compensated by some fine sweeping views at the back of the property.
