Hands down, the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Chantal and Dominique have created a little paradise in this old boys' school. The spacious rooms are uniquely furnished in the most indulgent mix of original details and modern luxury. You can get lost in their beautiful garden and our children really enjoyed their pool. (There is a generous kitchen to use if you pass on the wonderful cuisine offered btw.) To finish our stay we had the best french breakfast possible outside of a 5 star hotel buffet: from fresh smoothie, crepes, croissants over cheese platters, breakfast spreads and jams as well as fresh omelette. The entire family agreed that we will be back! THANKS AGAIN!

There was absolutely NOTHING we did not like. It should be noted maybe that our bedroom did not have an ensuite bathroom but we did not mind that at all.

Chantal and Dominique have created a small paradise for their guests at Ecole des Garçons. We stayed at their wonderful home for 10 days with two small children and we would have loved to stay longer still. Because the house was originally built as a school, the rooms are very large (think classrooms) and decorated with impeccable style. Everything in this house is of high quality and selected by the keen eyes of the wonderful hosts. Despite being a historical building, the rooms come with modern comfort (AC), which was required this summer. Because Ecole des Garçons only has a few rooms, it always feels like a private vacation in a very comfy place. The garden is so big, plush and well maintained that you can spend hours exploring it and always find a place in the shade. In the back they have added a sizeable seawater pool with a nice deck to hang out. We absolutely loved it. Our kids also loved feeding the fish in the pond, looking for eggs from the hens and helping Dominique to pick vegetables, fruit and berries from the orchard. The best part, however, is the food which Dominique and Chantal offer to their guests. Every morning, the freshest ingredients are served at a time of your choice. A true breakfast to look forward to. The hosts offer to cook dinner for their guests if you give 48 hours notice. We highly recommend taking them up on that offer (also very fairly priced) and enjoy the three course meals of outstanding cooking as often as your travel plans allow. We enjoyed the food so much and learned new tricks for the kitchen. Dominique is an artist in the kitchen, Chantal a master baker. Many of the ingredients come from their own garden and everything is prepared with much love. Overall, our stay exceeded our high expectations on all counts. We can only recommend to families and couples alike to include Ecole des Garçons in your travel plans. Thank you Chantal and Dominique for making our vacation very special!

everything about this property is stunning. Chantal and Dominique take such pride in everything, the cleanliness, the decor, the food and the gardens. Also their hospitality is second to none. They love chatting and give really helpful tips on the area. But equally give you space to relax. Dominique take great pride in cooking and serves a spectacular French evening meal which has to be experienced, along with a fantastic breakfast each day. nothing is too much trouble for them.

I don’t know where to start! Chantal & Dominique have created an idyllic utopia - the house is stunningly designed, the garden & pool were a dream and both dinner & breakfast were fit for queens and kings 💕

Peaceful, calm, amazing food, from a delicious breakfast to a 5 course dinner, friendly, generous hosts who looked after their guests with such pride and with a clear passion for what they do, a beautiful garden with pool.

It was one of the most impressive places, we've been: the garden, the house , the rooms, the best tomato salad in the world, the best breakfast, .... We stayed there just by chance on the way back from holiday. It was the last night of holiday but we spent there our best time!!! IT's such an amasing place and so amasing hosts. We loved every minute there. Thank you so much!

Beautiful place with charming helpful hosts. The rooms are lovely, the gardens and pool are great. Lovely quiet town with walks and cycling from the doorsteps. You MUST have dinner there, the food is out of this world and very reasonable price wise.

Such an amazing space, every little detail has been thought through and executed with flair and style. The rooms are great, hosts amazing and food, well, out of this world. As my daughter put it, the only downside was we were only there for a night..

In the country side, high quality restored property , owners very attentive, comfortable and amazing breakfast.

No en-suite bathroom, but it is an old restored property so not possible

Location was perfect for our journey stop over. The pool was brilliant for the children and us to cool off. Incredibly welcoming and all good was exceptional
