Campanile Lyon Centre - Gare Perrache - Confluence

For a reasonably priced room, the location was excellent with bars, restaurants, shops and transport on doorstep. Walking distance to old town. Extremely helpful, polite reception staff. View of square from room. Good level of cleanliness overall.

Whilst bathroom and walls were clean the bedroom carpet could do with replacing, but appears that hotel was doing some upgrading work as we left. Twin room was fairly small with limited storage and small beds which might be an issue if wanted to stay longer, but perfectly adequate for the short break and compensated for by the ideal location of the hotel at a good price.

I liked the location because it is close to the centre and Lyon perrache train station, handy for making day trips. The room was cleaned regularly.

The breakfast too expensive priced at 13.90€. That price could buy a plat du jour lunch. When it's busy you have time to choose everything. Sometimes there's nowhere to sit down and some tables don't get cleared.

Location is unbeateble- very close to main attractions and old districts- you can walk without transportation. exeptionally clean room, after busy daysyou can find a cofemaker, tee, milk...very good breakfast, helpful staff.... As for price- Lyonesse hotels are very expensive, and because of that price should be not discutable. Definily reccomended!!!

Despite the room is too small, but it's very bright, but it's not a problem at all if you are solo traveler.As for price- Lionese hotels are very expensive, Nothing negative

The location is excellent and the staff and facilities are good. Everything you need is close and the transport links are excellent. Perfect for an overnight stop.

A small fridge in the room and cups and glasses rather than paper cups would be a big improvement. The bathroom is tiny. Squeezing past the sink to get to the toilet is not ideal!

The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, tasty and plenty of choice. The location was good for public transport and many tourist attractions are a walkable distance.

The room was quite small, there wasn’t much room between the end of the bed and wall so had to shuffle my way past. Then was quite a bit noise from outside which is to be expected given the location and also the lack of double glazing due to the old large windows. I used earplugs when I slept so the noise didn’t cause me any problems. One of the pillows was really lumpy but I was able to use the other one. The room was a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The sealant and grouting was yellowed. There aren’t any drawers in the room so nowhere to put clothes like underwear.

The hotel isn't located in the centre, but quite close to it. Location near the train/bus station is quite convenient though. We got one of only few rooms with balcony. It was really quite and has everything what's needed. Breakfast's buffet offers a lot of options.

Some minor fixes in bathroom would be useful.

Great staff, great location, delightful breakfast. Nice to have a bar in the hotel too. Literally across the street from the train station. Bed was comfortable enough, private bathroom was clean. Terrific place for the value! Was very easily able to walk to all the tourist locations. Parking at Q parking was easy and affordable… from the garage you was underground, along the tram, straight to the front of the hotel.

Bed a little short…husband is 6 foot and his feet hung off the end. Rooms tight, but enough if you’re planning to just shower and sleep in the room.

I enjoyed the good showers, clean facilities and the incredibly central location. As a female solo traveller, it is in a very safe area and the hotel is well maintained and professional.

The room was very cold... but that was until I realised the thermostat was set to 5° not 25! The room was quite small, so for couples it may have been an issue.

The location of this hotel is undoubtedly the best in the town. Perfectly placed adjacent to train station, bus station & tram station which is an added advantage to move anywhere quickly. Also the main attractions in Lyon are all very close to the hotel. This a value for money service which we liked.

I think, the room could be little bigger. Sometimes it makes difficult for a family of 3 like us to move around quickly within such narrow passage beside the bed. I understand it's a value for money/ budget hotel, but that does'nt mean at the cost of such inconvenience.

the most thing i liked is the location of the hotel, some staff were very very helpful and smiley

but some minor other staff were just doing what they asked for, but i didn't feel their hospitality at all because of their Poker face
