We had a rather large, comfortable room with a large balcony overlooking the park, which was a great place to relax in the morning and after returning to the hotel in the evening. This chateaux had an impressive lay-out with some amazing common rooms - parking was just outside. We very much enjoyed the breakfast in the park, an experience completely different to what you will find in a typical (upscale) hotel. There are many things to enjoy in the area and we hope to return another time.

We have stayed in quite a few castles/chateauxs/mansions converted into hotels and most of them share the problem of maintaining a property that was built in a time when labor was cheap. This hotel also had this problem, in particular when it came to the expansive park and to the bathroom, which was not quite up-to-date. Using period art can make an old house feeling heavy, however we wouldn't have minded less "comtempory" art on the walls in and outside our room - bare walls can also be very pleasing!

The hotel is located in an ancient castle. The room is very spacious with a big bathroom. Bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really delicious. Especially the croissants were amazing. The breakfast doesn’t have much option but the taste was really good. The hotel was clean and the stuff was polite. There is parking space available in the hotel yard without any payment.

The hotel doens’t have It’s own restaurant. We were really hungry when we arrived at the hotel and we had a hard time finding an open restaurant with available table. You should definitely make a reservation from nearby restaurants.

We loved everything about our stay, and can't wait to come back someday! Such a beautiful and well-maintained chateau, we loved our room, bathroom, walking the grounds, and relaxing and sipping Alsatian wine on the back patio behind it. Breakfast had everything we could want for a stay in France, and we were happy that it was an easy walk to town to grab dinner if we didn't feel like driving. A great place to stay while you explore the lower part of the Alsace Wine Road like we were. Thank you for having us!

The hotel was very individual and quirky, a fascinating place to stay. we loved the breakfast format, extensive buffet with a massive selection of teas and crockery. Hard to adequately describe the character of the place which was really unique and special.

The hotel didn't have a restaurant for dinner, but there were plenty of local recommendations. The garden area / outside could have looked smarter and more welcoming if it had mown grass and maybe some floweres to set off the fantasic chateau.

Interesting place to stay. Breakfast was really good. Nice garden. The terrace in the room was really useful because of the warm weather. It's well located in Guebwiller.

There's a very little problem with the keyhole and room door. They work well but, damn, it's not very easy to glide the key inside the keyhole correctly.

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the room that we had was very spacious, there was a very nice garden and the hotel was well located to make one day trips in the neighborhood. The decoration of the hotel was also very well done combining antique furniture and modern art. Not at all the standard cobbled together stuff that one often sees in a hotel.

We did not have a real shower in our bathroom, there was no elevator.

Fantastic hotel imaginatively done, full of interesting objet and art. Set in beautiful parkland where the environment is clearly important to the owners. Very comfortable bed and room and super breakfast. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

it’s a very beautiful property situated 25 minutes from Colmar and other picturesque Alsatian villages. The rooms are cute and the walls are decorated with beautiful art.

- The double bed was in fact two twin beds pushed together - not very comfortable for a couple. - no mini bar to chill your wine

The hotel is in a good location, close to many hiking and walking trails. It has a charming interior and a large quiet garden. Our room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely terrace. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the bar well-stocked. Definitely recommend!

Because of Covid-related restrictions, the restaurant offered only one meal per night and it was Alsacian food, which may not be to everyone's taste :) Was not a problem for us though!

The hotel is so calm. It was an excellent stay to disconnect from city and traffic. Surrounded by beautiful gardens. The bedrooms were very comfortable, big bathrooms. We visited the wine bar and there was a good variety of wines, all price range. The personnel was very kind and gave us good recommendations. A place to come back.
