Excellent location, room exactly as described. Chromecast very handy and easy to use. Great rooftop bar to have a drink or dinner in. Cool aesthetic throughout. Staff at front desk were very nice.

Breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Quite noisy from bar as we were on 4th floor, could have done with more soundproofing.

well located in the center, friendly employees and a nice concept. The entrance hall is used a restaurant but also as a bar in the evening and on weekends people do party and dance but in the third floor we couldn’t hear the music.

we came by car and (as with many hotels), the description, how to enter the center and finding the way to the parking wasn’t well described. The last 20 meters I had to drive against a one way street but this was never mentioned. I recommend to write it in details and maybe also sending a drawing by mail.

This was our second time to Mama, and we loved our stay. The staff are the highlight; they are so sweet and go above and beyond to make your stay. When we arrived, they gave us free cocktails to enjoy on the rooftop as we rebooked. Then the first night, our air con broke, so they immediately moved us to another room the next day and discounted our first night. It's just great customer service. And again per my last review, the location is amazing, and the rooftop is very cool and convenient to have upstairs.

We loved the hotel’s funky interior, comfy bed, streaming free movies in English, great location & amazing staff who went out of their way to make sure we were fed when we arrived late after our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay here again.

Not much - would have liked conditioner in the shower but very minor!

The breakfast was lovely, I did think slightly overpriced.

The lack of tables for having just a drink on the terrace. There were plenty of empty tables when we arrived, but the bar stools were empty. I understand that there were booking but it would have been better to allow us to use one until 5-10 mins before the booking arrived.

Amazing location, cool lobby and rooftop bar to hangout in and the staff are very helpful and generally really nice people! The rooms are very basic but if you plan to be out and about + hang out at the rooftop bar then they are comfortable and clean. Will definitely rebook if I come back to Bordeaux.

They don’t provide shampoo or conditioner. We’re travelling around for an extended period of time so it’s helpful to have these at the hotels so we don’t need to carry with us.

Location in the center of Bordeaux was fantastic. You were in the middle of everything yet on a quiet street away from the crowds. Staff were really helpful for any issues. We kept having door problems and to make up for it, the hotel comped our breakfast and gave up 2 free drinks on the rooftop terrace. Really quality staff training.

the only thing we found annoying was the the line to get up to the terrace, which is very popular with locals, would block the entrance to the hotel so we had to push through like we were going to a club. And then the same thing inside the hotel. Only 2 elevators, one was for guests only and the other went to the roof. The people waiting to go up to the roof would be blocking the guest elevator, so again, had to shove through like pushing through a club. Need better line control to keep the terrace people to the side and out of the way of hotel guests.

Very friendly and helpful staff, super location, very comfortable beds and a great shower. Nice big TV. Nice rooftop terrace.

Aircon in the original room stopped working, so we had to move to a different room. At least they had one available, although it was a smaller one than we had paid for. No problem getting a partial refund in the morning though.

Excellent breakfast but bacon bit crispy. Very wide selection of foods. Receptionist Micheline was very helpful. The location is excellent to the B route tram route

Evening meal was ok - the British say medium for steak cooking which is not pink No air con so we were given a mobile air con stack Lights for the bathroom were the same switch for the toilet - night visits meant two rooms lit rather than one. Not sure about all the merchandise displays...

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was well worth splurging for! Although I stayed on a Saturday night I did not hear any noise from visitors to the roof or bar downstairs.

This may not be uncommon in France, but the air conditioning seemed to not be activated (despite there being a thermostat in my room) until the evening - as someone who has sadly become used to A/C on very hot days, this made the room a tad bit uncomfortable upon check-in
